Gyros and Seafood is a fast food/drive thru serving Greek food and seafood. We tried their basic Gyro and chicken Gryo. The Gyros are a little pricey but they are stuffed with meat. The lamb was flavorful but maybe a little too garlicky. It's one of those that'll stay with you the rest of the day. The meat could have been a tad bit moister too- not as good as the Gyros in Tarpon but are a fine substitute if you don't feel like making the drive.
When we ordered our food we went through the drive thru. It took a while to get our food but this isn't McDonalds. They have some unusual items like chicken gizzards/livers, fired oysters, shrimp and clams. They also have scallops. I think next time I'd give the seafood a try. Again, prices are a little steep but seafood is more costly than your typical fast food.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Black L.Naples, FL61759Oct 14, 2013
For the prices they have, i must say the food is quite delicious. Especially the greek salad, so fresh and the lettuce so crunchy and big chunks of feta.. Mmmm, incredible! I also enjoyed the calamari rings, not bad for 3.89$, and the rice and beans are pretty good, so give it a try, cause for a express place it's not bad at all.

This is the place to go! If you are looking for great food, great prices, and friendly staff....this is the place to go! My husband and I recently were in FL for vacation and found Gyros & Seafood Express going down the road. We went through the drive thru and got the seafood platter broiled with Grouper & Shrimp, and our side was Blackbeans and Yellow Rice. It was AMAZING! Not only was the staff friendly through the drive thru but the food was really terrific.
Before we left Florida, we went back to Gyros & Seafood. This time, we went inside to eat. We ordered the Gyro combo with fries (Excellent Value). The portions size was really good. Plenty of fries and the Gyro was very filling. The gyro meat was seasoned just right and the entire meal was terrific. The drinks were only $1 and can't be beat. As we ate, one of the staff members came out and asked how our meal was. She was so friendly and so nice to us. We had been in Florida all week and had so many encounters with rude folks at restaurants so this was a pleasant and welcomed surprise.
By far, this place has THE BEST GYROS in Florida! Please take time to visit this place, encounter the great food and great friendly staff. The chairs are comfortable, and the place is very clean. You won't regret it!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 36174229Dec 1, 2012
My boyfriend and were impressed by the Gyros. We thought it was delicious but the boneless wings were not very good. Ours were very tough and chewy. My boyfriend really enjoyed the seasoning on their french fries and we split a large milkshake there for only $1.99!

For a restaurant with a drive through my friend and I a were pleasantly surprised we both ordered the gyro platter. Gyro, fries and drink for less than 15.00. Wow dinner for 2 for that price is less then McDonalds LOL. Ok on to the food the fries were exactly how I like them crispy, hot and plentiful. The gyro was good, the meat could have been moister but not too dry, it came with onion, tomato and really good tsisiki sauce. I could not finish my platter it was a few bites too big. Hope this place makes it the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable.

Not what I expected from this especially from what previous reviews say. I ordered the fried whiting and it was terrible!! Too breaded as well as the fishy fish tasting, YUCK!!! Too much breading that did not compliment the entree' at all. Very disappointed as this place was was recommended. Will not be going back until UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT.

Gyros and Seafood? No more like greasy and grease food. Looked over the whole menu, choices of 2 Gyros and generic looking Greek desserts from the menu. Oh and also couldn't find anything but the 2 Gyros that weren't fried. All the seafood came fried. I've been trying to eat better so I let today be my cheat day. So my son and I both ordered the boneless chicken wings that come with fries. The woman at the speaker taking my order seemed as excited as the faded out dated menus and horrible speaker system she was speaking into. WTH!!! Waited almost 10 minutes behind a car. Then another 12 minutes at the window. I was like ok. ..this is gonna be fresh and good. Smelled good going home. Opened it up...Good grief! The French fries were soggy and hard..can't explain it but they were. Full of grease. The hard knots of chicken they threw some sauce on were hot, but it was like a greasy flavored rock. I took 2 bites and my son refuse to eat it. I called to complain, got put on hold THEN my call was mysteriously disconnected. I had to bite my tongue in front of my son. I'm originally from New Jersey so you know what's rolling through my head with a hot NY temper as well. I'm really glad I didn't order a soda... $10.00 dinner for 2 a bust...Sorry no savings or happy ending here.

We were excited to see this place open and the first time we tried this place was the 2nd day it opened. It was mediocre but still the freshest it's ever been, or probably will be. The 2nd through 4th visits we had = NO WAY! The only reason why we made it through the 2nd and last attempt is because we really wanted it to be great because I love Gyros and we lived right across the street. It's such a classic case of the owners' not keeping the food fresh and service consistent. How does a place have "Gyro" in the business name and still make a crappy (to be nice) Gyro? Also, Feta cheese is a very common requested option on a Gyro and every time requeted at this place, we kept getting what we keep calling "rail road ties" of Feta cheese "bricks" on my sandwich. lol. Feta should be crumbly and less than a pound full on a Gyro. Hey, I really do love Feta but that is quite excessive. If you want a good Gyro, seriously go somewhere else that advertises one North or South on 19. If you choose not to, don't say I didn't warn you! More than 3 strikes and they're out!
