Cookies by Design

Not sure which location did my order but this is what I ordered vs what was actually delivered.... ??? Ummm I am the laughing crying emoji myself right now why are the all sideways and arranged that way?

Love the cookies and the owner, however the other lady that works there is horrible. It seems like me walking in irritated her period. After I ordered my cookies, she simply went back to the back area without a thank you or anything.

I really love this little shop, but that bitter old woman will seriously make me consider going else where!

I just left this small business complete dissatisfied by the customer service.

I was told about Cookies by Design by a friend & have been ordering cookie bouquets for special events (mothers day, valentines day, etc) for a year now & I stop in every other week or so to buy a cookie or 2 for myself. I would say I am a loyal customer of this small business.

Today I went in to buy my usual cookies however i found myself with only a dollar in cash. I pulled my card out & asked if I could pay the small amount with card, they didn't have a minimum sign & I knew they took card. The lady looked at me, rolled her eyes & with a disgusted voice said "not for 4.50". I asked what her minimum for cash would be. She asked if I had any cash at all then proceeded to direct me to an atm right outside. As I turned around to walk out the door she asked how many cookies I wanted she was then willing to take my card. I replied none thank you.

I know businesses get charged a percentage for using card but I had even asked what she thought would be acceptable for a card swipe she kept being rude. I cannot believe this place!

The cookies are okay, nothing special but the designs look nice in an arrangement but I will never buy here again!

I had ordered a cookie bouquet (on the Tuesday before) for early Saturday delivery to my home. When I called (4 hours after they opened) to find out where my bouquet delivery was the person on the other end of the line did not want to be bothered with my concerned call NOR offered to locate the order or where my bouquet was in the queue for delivery. No call, no show... UNTIL 6pm?!?!?!? Never knocked on the door (no doorbell), never called to confirm delivery.

Thank you Cookies By Design (Santa Clara, CA) for letting me know that my business is not important and my request at the time of the order goes unanswered. This review is PURELY based on customer service alone and If I could give MINUS stars... I surely would have.

BUYER BEWARE, SKIP THIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR YOUR SPECIAL OCCASIONS!

My order was never received and customer service would not answer my emails and when I spoke to them on the phone they were reluctant to look into the issue and could not offer any solutions.

This little shop specializes in what else? Cookies! You can order cookies for special occasions with your own special message. Create your own items for party favors, weddings, etc. Only thing is, they were closed when I went by one day and on the door, the opening hours stated they should've been open at that time. Call ahead so you won't waste a trip.

This company claims to have gluten free options, but I warn you to stay away! I should I stopped after reading their websites "info" (most, if not all, false) on celiac disease and others who follow a GF diet...learn from my mistake.

Celiacs and those with gluten intolerance, run away and run fast!

This place is fine unless there is a mistake with your order. Then they throw all of their customer services skills out the window!
I order from them all the time for both business and pleasure. Today was the first time there was a mistake with my order. No big deal, this is something that can be easily fixed. Instead, they were rude, and then CHARGED me for the shipping to pick up the wrong order and drop off the correct one! Beyond ridiculous!

I love their product and the cookies are great, but not worth it if you have horrible customer service especially when things go wrong.

Haven't had one in a least 2 years, but I have been known to eat my weight in them.

I had a bouquet of cookies delivered to my 90 year old mom at her retirement community for Valentines Day. She was so excited if she could have gone through the phone to hug me she would have. She must have talked for 5 minutes about how beautiful and what a lovely addition to her day. I have used them for more than 10 years and have never been disappointed. The perfect gift, especially for the person who has everything!
