Omg, seen this twice, worth the time to travel there and the cost of admission.
I heard that all costume changes happen underwater!! Beautiful acrobatics, amazing music, breath-taking stunts. I recommend seats in the middle towards the front.
As soon as I go back to Vegas, I will go again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Taylor R.Chicago, IL406Mar 7, 2024
I really didn't want to write this review, but here it goes.
"O" holds personal significance for me: as a former figure skater, I performed to "Tzelma" for several years, and I had always wanted to see the live show. For my 30th birthday, my sister, my husband, and I decided to splurge on tickets; after having seen and enjoyed "Drawn to Life" at Disney Springs, our expectations were high.
The show itself was spectacular. All the performers were amazing, the music was memorable as it has always been, and we loved the water and fire acrobatic stunts.
Our experience however was the opposite.
As many other reviewers stated, there isn't much of a storyline, which doesn't bother me; however, the two-part clown sideshow was drawn out.
We were seated on the right-hand side of the theater, which left us with an obstructed view of the stage and no view of the acts taking place in the background. Obviously, we take responsibility in selecting these seats; however, I am of the opinion that this view was not worth $123.00+ per person. This is simply a factor for future attendees to keep in mind.
What was most aggravating was an audience member that used her cell phone for half of the performance, serving as a severe distraction from the show. Entering the theater, there were several signs stating that cell phone use was prohibited, and an announcement was made to the audience reminding us of this policy before the beginning of the show. Despite this, as well as two flashlight call-outs from the theater staff, she recorded much of the opening act and had her text message screen brightly shining for the majority of the first hour. My sister gradually became so angry that she left her seat to find and explain this disruption to another staff member, who did speak with the woman but to no avail. This took our attention away from the show that it was almost impossible to enjoy afterwards.
Considering that we spent over $500 in tickets, this experience was incredibly disappointing to the point where I wish I could take it back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jan 4, 2024
I had high expectations for "O" because it's supposedly the "best" Cirque de Soleil show, so I was a bit disappointed. There's no doubt the performers are incredibly talented, but I just found the sequences kind of boring and thought there'd be more aerial work and acrobatics mixed in with the water performances.
I didn't like the baby schtick in Mystere, and didn't like the clown schtick in O. Just felt like way too much filler for an expensive show.

Amazing show, possibly the best, though the New York-accented usher seemed more like a prison guard than an usher at an elite and iconic Vegas show. Huge pre show props to Guadalupe at the ticket counter. I had to switch my tickets, and Guadalupe was SO accommodating, much more helpful and pleasant than her predecessor two days earlier. Thanks Guadalupe. Also, there should be ZERO seating after the show begins. Make it just like an airline. Be in your seat or lose the fare.

The week's mornings had all started out poorly. Lots of bad energy. There was the pugnacious police academy reject TSA officer with the oversized lug nut earrings and tortured earlobes who berated me because of a small plastic comb in my pants' pocket. And the ferocious shemale barista from Hell who, from her poisonous scowl, apparently got word that I hadn't tipped on my coffee to go. And on the oversold flight to Vegas from Chicago was a second act silver hen with a bad case of 80s tanning remorse who didn't appreciate me asking her to trade seats so a father and his two young children could sit together in the same row (she refused BTW). So how nice it was this morning at the O Theatre ticket office to be patiently and kindly treated by Michelle, guiding me to optimum seats at the best prices. Michelle even showed me the actual view from the seats I eventually purchased. If only everyone could be so nice. The performers in O aren't the only stars in the show. I know at least one working in ticket sales. Thanks Michelle!

Over the years, I've attended several Cirque Du Soleil shows here in Las Vegas (Mystere, Love, and now O) and under the "Big Top" in the Bay Area. Each show is a masterpiece of acrobatics, clowns, skits, high wire acts, audience participation, and music. I've found that the stories behind the title are a little thin, and part of the challenge is having the 3-dimensional sense to figure out where the next act is coming from and where it goes afterwards. In any event the creativity and artistry of this circus troupe never fails to impress.
O is perhaps the most visually stunning Cirque du Soleil production I've seen and in a theater that I believe was specifically designed for this show. Watching a high wire act end with a long dive into the water was impressive and how they mixed and matched the aqueous parts of the show was nothing short of amazing.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - Sep 5, 2023
This show was spectacular! I've truly never seen anything like it. It is magical and the use of the pool is honestly jaw dropping! The talent of the performers is incredible! It is everything you want out of a Vegas performance and more!
The venue is beautiful and has a bar/snack stand and a souvenir store right outside. The seats are super comfortable! We went on a Wednesday night and purchased limited view seats. We were so happy that the house manager moved us to the middle since there were empty seats! I know this doesn't happen all the time, but you may luck out with incredible seats for a cheaper price!
I would recommend everyone to see this show if you are visiting Vegas. It is beautiful, imaginative, and full of WOW factor!Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Aug 28, 2023
Stupendous! Amazing! Beautiful! These are some of the words you'll probably find yourself using to describe this flagship Cirque performance.
25 years old and still going strong, this is the show to see if you only see one show in Vegas. The amazing acrobatics combined with the water aspect of this show make it truly unique. I don't want to give it all away, but you really get the best of Cirque here. Acrobatics. Music. Fire. Clowns. All of it. The music in particular is hauntingly beautiful.
Splurge for La Grande Experience if you can. This VIP package gets you a champagne reception pre-show with snacks and a beautiful professional photo with some of the cast and a video behind the scenes tour. You're then whisked away to your private suite in the theater where your personal cocktail server will bring you more champagne or other beverages of your choice included with the package (and popcorn too). This is the way to see O, but see it whatever way you can. You won't be disappointed!Helpful 10Thanks 2Love this 5Oh no 0 - Mar 24, 2024
We saw this show at the Bellagio in Vegas and we loved it! It was seamless and just beautiful. We were in the side balcony seats and the view was great for us! We couldn't see the stage left in entirety but it didn't matter. The pool itself was incredible! My boyfriend loved it so much he bought a book and shirt. I wasn't as excited about their merchandise but that's ok. The show was amazing! We'd see it again!

My brother and his partner wanted to see this show when we were in Vegas. I didn't know too much about it going into the show. But it was pretty neat! The show is located inside the Bellagio and there's a gift shop outside the doors.
Set in a million gallon water pool, O by Curque du Soleil is a wonderful show full of acrobatics! My recommendation is get a seat on the lower level so you can see more of what's going on. It also gets REALLY warm up in the mezzanine/upper levels because of the humidity from the pool. There were parts of the beginning of the show where we couldn't see over the railing and what was happening below. There is no narration or talking so you have to follow along with the acts.
It was kinda pricey and was a great experience. Definitely want to see another show!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Fabiola C.Middle Island, NY026Apr 15, 2024
My experience at the Cirque du Soleil "O"show was incredibly disappointing, to say the least. The storyline was dark and demonic, making no sense and jumping erratically from clowns to fairytales to demons. One particularly disturbing scene involved a black coffin and individuals dressed entirely in black, which added to the overall confusion and discomfort. There was even a scene where a character, presumably the devil, uttered something like "can I have your soul," which was extremely bizarre and unsettling.
I regret spending $430 on this show, feeling like it was money down the drain. It's unfortunate because I had a fantastic experience at a Christmas show previously and was considering revisiting it. However, this show's preview on the website was misleading, and I should have checked Yelp for more accurate insights, as some posted pictures hinted at the dark themes.
While I can appreciate the acrobatic talent and the impressive underwater performance techniques, the poor storyline overshadowed these positives.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
