I do not often find myself in AE stores these days but I had to do a return here this last year. I loved that I was able to get that taken care of in about 2 minutes. Sadly there was nothing in store I could fathom doing an exchange for. Usually there is something tempting in the checkout line or on the way out - that was not the case here. Inventory seems not to be great at this location.

After realizing that items I bought for full price in store were on sale online, I initiated a return and inquired about a specific pair of jeans. I had to substantiate the online pricing even though I couldn't access the internet in store. The sales associates asked me to call customer service instead of calling themselves. They argued with me about the pricing rather than doing the work to verify anything and placed the burden completely on me. Furthermore they gaslit me about details on the jeans and that I was mistaken about which ones were actually on sale. I was shopping with my two year old and had to investigate pricing on my phone and call customer service all while the sales associates waited behind the counter. They only honored the online pricing when I left the mall to gain internet access and returned with screen shots of the sale items. it was way more trouble than I anticipated and I was very disappointed that I ended up doing their jobs for them. I'll be sticking to the online shopping from now on. Both associates that I dealt with were apathetic at best and offered nothing in the way of assistance or customer service.

Horrible service! I will never go again. Teach your employees customer service. They should help everyone the same not just because of their appearance means they shouldn't be helped.

I never thought I would say this, but I LOVE big stores in small towns where people don't shop quite as much! The reason is simple. I come from the Bay Area and frequent Southern California where some of the best shopping can be found. However, everyone knows those great shopping places so during the holidays and while the stores are having great sales, you can never find anything you want that's on sale or in your size!
I came to this American Eagle solely to find two pairs of jeans and was delighted to find that all the sizes were left including mine which happens to be a popular size for some reason and is never in stock when it goes on sale. Furthermore, the same sale applied and the tax was even cheaper than I anticipated. It's obvious that the managers treat their employees like they aren't good enough for the position. Poor management is the worst thing about this store.

I love this store. They have adorable clothes, and aren't nearly as expensive as Abercrombie & Fitch. Sure, they have some expensive stuff, but I have often found jeans for $20 or $30 bucks - not bad! Their customer service is great, too.

I used to really enjoy coming here but now the ladies who work here are rude and lazy. They seem very unapproachable and seem to be upset when you ask them for help or for a changing room. Also, they kept the alarm tag on my girlfriend's shirt. Never going back there again.

employees were almost begging my friend and i to purchase and spend more. when my friend said no to another pair of jeans, she continued to suggest buying another pair. she ended up being convinced and i feel that is pressuring.
