Just like the X's from the tic tac toe game in the photo of the kid's menu - this place is a winner!
Clean, friendly and fun - great food - the best seafood in the River Valley!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Sep 1, 2022Previous reviewExcellent food and service
Best seafood in Fort Smith for sure and maybe the best seafood in Arkansas... I haven't had any better anywhere else. It's the next best thing to being in New Orleans or the gulf coast. - Oct 28, 2023
Crowded on a Friday night at 6pm, my choices were to sit outside (too cold) or at the bar (too crowded) or wait for an inside table (at least 30 minutes). So I sat at the bar, the last seat against the wall. Bummer there was nowhere to plug in my phone and I got to rub elbows with some nice folks.
Cup of gumbo to start was tasty though too much okra and not enough seafood. The muffin with it was delicious. For main, I chose the oyster poboy. A reasonable price and it had an appropriate number of fried oysters on it. The bread was tasty and included a big pile of "parmesan-dusted" fries that were nicely done.
I enjoyed my dinner other than the crowd and four star gumbo. A power outlet under the bar would have made if five stars.

I eat here at least once a week and I'm not alone. They have won Gold in River Valley for Best Seafood Restaurant and Best Overall Restaurant in 2023 and several years prior since they opened 10years ago. The staff will treat you like a Houseguest and the kitchen staff have never put out a dish that isn't perfect. One of the few places in River Valley to get Oysters year round raw, cooked, and grilled.
A friend from San Diego tried their fried Calamari and said it was better than any she had in 40 years in California.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Oct 22, 2022Previous reviewI'm never going to be a skinny man! I blame Chef Mark and the Bartenders, Mickey and Destiney. The staff know their tempting offerings and how to serve them up.
I blame the Devil for making my car swerve into their parking lot every week for Bar specials. The oysters prepared in the most provocative ways, Their lemon chicken with asparagus on Angel Hair pasta are my weaknesses. The fried Calamari is hot and delicious, but if you don't like a little Hot kick, ask to leave off the pepper flakes (I don't). Overall, literally nothing is bad here. They have out Cajuned the local Cajun Bragging resturaunts.Aug 20, 2022Previous reviewVery creative dishes are put on special weekly. Great quality and value for seafood. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I always endulged too much.

Hard pass for future seafood cravings. The breading is the same for everthing and was too thick. The calamari had a lighter breading but was not cooked til crisp. Also missed tentacles. Breading on fried green tomatoes was way too thick for delicate green tomatoes. Came for oysters but price was not listed. I DO NOT want to ask for the price for items on a menu. Service was good. Just not as good as it used to be.

Moved here from out of state. We love oysters on on the half shell. Absolutely the best oysters. Big and their horseradish dip is a kicker. We shared the pound crab legs, 1/4 lbs shrimp, andouille sausage. With corn on the cob and potatoes. It was plenty enough for the 2 of us. Service was excellent and food was great. We sure will be back. And yes this place does military discount as well! Our to go place to. If I could change one thing I would serve red skinnned tators. But the ones we had was great as well. We will be back! Thanks OJ's for a great night. You have the best staff and great food.

Omgggg! Stopped for the night and let me tell you, this place is UHMAYZING greeted by a sweet hostess that offered me a to-go order becaus I'm so tired from the days travels.
I ordered oysters on the half shell and they were, fresh and cam with all the bells: fresh horseradish, lemons and side of Louisiana hot (asked for that ) asked what other delish items she'd suggest besides the crab cakes (hotel staff recommended) I ended up with the Bballs... a delish lil deep fried treasure, the fried tater cakes- an amazing cone shaped potato heaven and a side Caesar salad. While I waited on the heated patio and listened to classic rock, I also indulged in a recommended local cold beer from the tap. Highly recommend this lace to go or to stay, either way try this place!! Travel to this place!! Make a chain of this placeHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
