AWESOME!!! From booking the artists to their arrival setup to time with the kids. It was a huge hit. The balloon artist was really great. The kids LOVED LOVED LOVED him. I would gladly hire them again. Showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and were very pleasant to work with. Would highly recommend.
~25 4 year olds, we had a balloon and airbrush artist for 1 hour. -

We booked Adv Balloons for my son's 6th birthday party. It was a HIT! Jimmy came out half an hour early. He set up and was ready to make balloons by our arranged time slot. The kids and adults were thrilled at his creations. He was very professional and went about his work with no breaks, for 2 hours straight! What we especially liked was that when the kids ballons would pop, he would either fix them or created a new one with no issues. The tattoo artist was booked for one hour and did an excellent job as well. The tattoos were whimsicle and colorful. The 2 gentlemen were so quite, but busy, that at times I forgot they were even there!
I am hooked on Adventture balloons and highly recommend them! We will definitely keep this a tradition and have them join us for my son's 7th birthday!

Recommendation: Provide a picture menu (sample poster) of the different options the kids can ask for. Kids initially asked for simple characters. Unless they have seen the website, they missed out on all the large size unique and wearable balloon designs. -

We attended a 5-year-old's birthday party and the balloon twisting was incredibly sophisticated, detailed, and impressive. The huge spider and the Little Mermaid were my favorite creations.
Even more fun than the outrageous balloons designs may have been the colorful airbrush tattoos. They sprayed on very quickly so there was never a big line. There were over 50 designs to choose from, and my son got four tattoos, including a flaming basketball on his cheek and a sun on his arm. We hired Gideon from Adventure Balloons to my daughter's 4th birthday party. All the guests had fun watching him make the balloons and were impressed at his skill in twisting the balloons into every sort of creation you can think of. My friend who saw his work at our party just booked Gideon for another party. I would definitely recommend this service. It will make your party that much more entertaining for everyone - kids and adults alike!

Adventure balloons was a major hit at our Son's first birthday party. Jimmie's balloons are just so artistic. They are not the usual run of the mill kiddie stuff. He made a spider attached to a kid and everyone's jaw dropped. His Princess, Dora, Dragonfly, Spider, price peter were all just so amazing. I had asked Jimmie for a Monkey for my son when he was free and he made my son a Palm tree with a base and a monkey hanging from it. It was about 4 feet tall! All the parents at my party were awe struck and commented about how they had never seen such nice balloon art. The kid's at my son's party had a ball and couldn't get enough of Jimmie's balloons.

We hired adventure balloons, for my daughter's first b-day party. They were the hit of the party by far!! The balloon art, and airbrushed tattoo's/face painting were first class! After the party,several people came up to us, inquiring about their services. We strongly recommend their services, to anyone looking for top notch family entertainment!

This is probably the first review of its kind on Yelp, but for parents & others who are planning parties and want a balloon artist, look no further than Jimmie from AdventureBalloons. Some friends recently hired Jimmie for their son's 2nd birthday party, and everyone in attendance was enthralled by the balloon hats, animals, backpacks, and costumes that Jimmie kept himself busy making. The balloon Elmo bore a striking resemblance to the real Elmo, as did the Dora the Explorer and Pooh Bear.
I was a little disappointed that he wasn't able (or perhaps interested) in doing a sea otter or sheep (these being my two favorite mammals) but he did make me a very cool backpack-type sculpture. See photos!
Of course, I write all this without knowing how much he charges to come to a party, but I'm sure that it was worth every penny that my friends spent.

If you're ever looking for a great balloon artist then this is the place to check out. We were eating at Applebee's and noticed that there was an artist going around making balloons for all the little kids. Some of the balloons that I started to see were amazing. I noticed a basket full of flowers, a race car, and a gigantic spider attached to a little boy's shoulders and hovering over his head.
As Jimmie came closer I noticed that he was from AB's. I had booked them once before for one of my company's Halloween party. I then knew we were in good hands. My daughter didn't really know what she wanted. Jimmie suggested a crown, a princess, and a flower. All she did was nod no. Then he finally figured out that she didn't want anything girly, so he suggested a dragon. She agreed to it right away. As Jimmie was making the dragon, my daughter pulled me aside and said this dragon is like you mommy. How sweet is that? I'm a dragon in the Chinese zodiac sign. She was very pleased once Jimmie was done. He didn't ask for any money, but I gave him a couple of dollars anyway for the great job that he did with the balloons and with the big smile on my daughters face. -

I hired Adventure Balloons to entertain at my child's birthday party. Jimmy did an excellent job. Not only were the children mesmerized by the work he did, the adults were just as excited to line up and get a piece of balloon art from him as well. There are balloon artists that only make really basic stuff, like flowers, and then these flowers deflate after an hour or so. That was NOT the case with Jimmy's work - he can make cartoon characters, fancy hats, giant spiders, swords- you name it- and while I don't know what happened to the stuff he made for the other kids, my child's balloon art stayed intact for weeks and weeks after the party.

i planned a company holiday party a few years ago, and i wanted something to keep the kids entertained.
i found this guy on a party entertainer website.
they were extremely flexible with their timing, it was a mid-afternoon time slot.
i was very happy with the things he made for the kids. he did a bunch of holiday-themed hats, like reindeer horns. he made a lot of huge items, such as cars that fit two people.
i would definitely recommend him to others looking for a party entertainer, the kids loved the things he made for them. swords, backpacks, dogs, etc, they were all very impressive.Listed in: wholesome fun

I hired Adventure Balloons for my twin nieces 1st birthday party after a recommendation from a friend and Jimmie Sr. turned out to be a huge hit at the party. Everyone was so impressed with his amazing balloon designs and could not believe the work he did. All the designs were extremely elaborate. He not only came early to set up so that he could start on time, but he even stayed a bit longer to be sure all the kids got something. I would definately recommendation them for anyone having a childrens birthday party or an event that needs fun entertainment for kids and adults!
