Pho Kim long renovated and totally blinged out with marble countertops and in-set lighting in their crown molding. Good for them.

Good news. Saw a sign on the door stating that pho Kim long will reopen on October 28, 2009. Phew!!! The suspense is over.
Haven't tried anything else there.
We try to eat here every week because it's important that good restaurants in our neighborhood stay alive.

I've had a better experience than other yelpers. The xiao long bao is pretty good for the area. I like the fried rice with cured ham, green onion bread, and fried pork buns as well. There is also a fish appetizer that's pretty good. However, I don't remember what it's called. We like to encourage good local restaurants. Although this place isn't great, it's good.
I agree about the service. It's hard if you don't speak Chinese. Additionally, the English translation of the dishes isn't sometimes appetizing. E.g. Sauteed fungus or Vegetables with gluten puffs. It's funny.
I have been spoiled with amazing homemade bun bo hue and cannot find it anywhere even close in a restaurant.
No it's not French, but it's good!
The cakes are good and ok priced. I try to go every week to keep them opened.
I'm extremely disappointed about their inability to speak and understand English. I happen to be there at the same time as a caucasian man with dietary restrictions and he was asking tons of questions abou t the ingredients in each bread. The salespeople called the baker out. None of them gave good answers and I had to translate their poor answers from broken English. It was bad.
