Cliff towed my car to the dealership for repairs and the service was EXCELLENT! He was prompt, polite, and professional. Not only that, he went above and beyond by humoring my 4-year-old son and letting him check out the towing process up close and personal. Safari Towing has our business for life!

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is horrible. When I called at 5:30 in the morning to see if they had towed my car the dispatch driver acting like he was asleep. The front office lady is the devil. She is extremely rude, hangs up on people that call to ask a simple question. You show up there to make sure you are at the correct location and she slams the door in your face. After reading the previous reviews, I see she does this same behavior many times previously. The response from owner on reviews are down right horrid. I am a small business owner myself and would NEVER condone one of my employees to behave this way to my customers. And most certainly not respond to a goole review in the way they have responded. Also, the excuses of referring negative reviews to a storage unit is down right absurd. All these negative reviews are for the towing company only! I will be reporting this establishment to the Better Business Bureau. I will also be notifying the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. Along with the Texas Secretary of State. This Safari Towing Company needs to be shut down

Got up at 4 am to get to my 6 am shift. Was super fun to find my car being towed, no signage posted anywhere near where I parked. I've lived here for a over a year, this has always been available for parking. They're building a car wash next door so there's been construction workers parked all over the place at all hours of the day. But whatever, maybe I missed something.
What was super fun was the girl telling me that "that's why you rent an apartment and I own a house", "your Nissan was the easiest to tow, maybe you should learn how to park" or "I own this company, signs are posted." She was about 5'7" blonde hair, super bitchy, very proud of herself. But hey, she owns the company and us poor people living in apartments deserve to be towed for parking where we always do
I mean at least they towed the car that's been abandoned and parked next to where I was for over a year. I actually felt bad for the guy working with her, he was super embarrassed and let my neighbor pay half price to get it off the blocks. Attaching photos for everyone to see the lack of signs.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Friends stop by Sunday at 5:00:00PM they register their car there and then they take a screenshot of the PERMIT at 05:01:PM. At 5:01:50PM a second car was registered and a second screenshot of the PERMIT was taken at 5:02 PM
Giving them a total of 24 whole hours to be parked in the complex. We leave to go to my godson's birthday party.

So after the party, we come back where dinner has been cooked we are now watching the grammy's laughing and having a good time. I step out to smoke a cigarette when I see your tow truck driver trying to hook up my guest's SUV.
Now, this is where I get upset. We're on foot and we are chasing down the tow truck before he leaves out the complex. Now after speaking with a firm rep they are things called DROP Fees. Where you are able to get the driver to drop your car off for a fee. But before we can show him that we have the active pass or how much the dropping fee was, he takes off. I find him at the stop sign and I am blowing my horn, and he keeps going. I know that the next stop sign is one-way so I proceed to drive past him in the right lane when he takes his right wheel and runs it into the left side of my truck's tire. That 8,600-pound truck is forcing my truck onto the curb.
He wasn't done by no means as if the clip of the back wasn't enough, he does it a second time picking up speed and running into my left side driver's door taking my door handle, side window, and my whole bumper off. Me in the right lane - the correct lane driving now being clipped by this driver and not only clipped but he's now pushing me into a water hydrant. Before he guns it right on past me.
Just learned that when a car is towed that the police receive a phone call from the towing company letting them know they were towing someone's vehicle. But Sunday there was NO CALL MADE. Which had the officers wondering what really was going on. The Driver tells the police that a woman with blue hair approached his truck with a knife, and in fact, no one approached the car except the woman showing that her car had in fact had the permit for both cars on a screenshot.

My car was towed and I called to ask for the address of the place where my car is held. The lady on the phone rudely answers "look it up online." Not only that, I have work in the morning and called to pick up my car right away at 1am but they claimed to be closed. Their website says they are open 24 hours. Does not at all mention anywhere on the website of other hours for picking up.
UPDATE** Called at 7am to pick up my car at 8am. Came at 8am and NO ONE IS HERE. Called again and said they are now on their way. Also, hours of service of posted on their door. However, I called at 1am last night to pick up my car but they said they CLOSED at 1am. Their sign says 2am. Unethical, lazy workers is all I have to say.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Yuri, we do apologize for the inconvenience. Please consider that we only handle the towing portion of this situation, we do not own the storage facilities. Thank you for your understanding.

My vehicle had a belt break when it was sitting at my house and I couldn't drive it to the repair shop. All I needed was for it to be taken to a place just a mile or so away. I called and was given a price and they arranged for a tow truck to come to my house. The guy with the truck was there in about 10 minutes. Another 10 minutes and my vehicle was connected and ready to go. I had prompt and courteous service at a fair price.
There are several malicious reviews for Safari Towing and some are obvious lies. I think that people get mad when their car is towed and blame the towing company. Take that for what it's worth. I had a very positive experience.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Stand up people! You aren't in a good mood when you need a tow service (as you know reading this), but when you do...these are amazing humans.

My car was towed from my OWN COMPLEX!! My car was registered to THAT address!! Even when I called them they saw that it was registered there!!!! Second time I called them the guy on the phone was horribly rude and tried to talk down to me!! Offered ZERO help!! Just transferred me to "who has your car"! Didn't even tell me where it was I was being transferred to!!

When ever you're needing a tow you know it's a bad day. Unexpected bills, potential damage to your car, and several other things. Today I was in that position...basically have one of my not so good days. Safari came to my rescue. Towed my car to the near by fire stone, then drove me back to catch my Uber! Tim (my tow driver) even went as far to help
My elderly grand mother in and out of the truck before I could. They're a stand up company, and Tim is a Stand up guy. Overall great experience with them. 10/10 would recommend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I'm glad this was covered under my roadside assistance otherwise this would have been an even more miserable experience. My wife and children left school to find they had a flat tire. I requested roadside assistance and Safari Towing Road Service sent my wife a text stating they would arrive at 5pm. When they had not arrived by 5:15, I decided I needed to drive over and help them. Keep in mind I had to ride the train from Downtown Dallas and pick up my car at the final stop on the line. I then had to drive to my wife's school 25 minutes away. When I arrived I was able to put my daughters car seat in my car and switch cars with my wife. I was still waiting for the driver.
When they finally did show the driver Jeff was very friendly and got the tire changed quickly.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael B.Dallas, TX38247Aug 19, 2018
My car decided to stop working when I went to a convenience store tonight for a beverage. I paid for a tow, in advance, from Safari through my insurance provider's roadside assistance department. They were about 20 minutes late getting there, but I don't fault them for it - I understand that sometimes the previous customers can take longer than expected and that the estimated time of arrival is an estimate.
They were able to jump my car instead of towing, which was fantastic news, as I had previously had a friend try to jump it and it wouldn't take - so I had THOUGHT it would have been a much bigger repair job.
Perfectly happy with how quick everything went once they arrived. Besides the wait, there were no issues at all.
I'm getting a new battery tomorrow. Good times.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information
