Was eager to try Fat Daddy's Deli due to the promising reviews. When I entered the location, I was automatically turned off by the smell. I am not sure how to accurately describe it, but it smelled off - almost dirty. Anyway, I ordered a few things including the Fat Daddy hoagie. While they were preparing my order, I had a bit of time to explore some of the food selections on display. To my disgust, there was a jar filled with some kind of food; I had no idea what it was, it was long and brown in color. I noticed white, fluffy mold on one of them and almost puked in my mouth. When my order was ready, I still paid for my food and left. I was contemplating whether I should eat the food, but I did and I am glad I did. The food was very tasty. The staff were also attentive and friendly. The mold just made me a bit nauseous.

This school is a joke. I was not told prior to enrolling here that to earn 3 credits at this school you have to go to a class that is twice as long as any other 3 credit course in the country. A typical 3 credit college class is 45 - 48 semester contact hours. A UARTS 3 credit class is 90 semester contact hours. My course schedule 4 days per week started at 8:00 and I was in class until 4:00, and my 5th day I was in class from 12:00 until 4:00. If I had known that somehow at this school a credit hour is magically twice as long as any other school, I would not have enrolled as this does not work for me (I am a commuter, not an 18 year old first time student).

I called an academic advisor about this and her response to me was "well, it's your money, do what you want." Thank you for that helpful advice.

I'm not saying this school is horrible, it's perfect for students who would like to spend all day in classes from 8 to 5 and then do homework for 2 hours, minimum, per night.

I don't understand how anyone can give this place a good review. I passed by this place with my wife one afternoon and we decided to try it as we were both craving Chinese food. We should have left as soon as we walked in, as half the restaurant had the lights turned off and the chairs up, and there were no cutomers in the restaurant but we decided to just try it - we weren't expecting a gourmet meal just edible food.

We ordered a chinese scallion pizza, dumplings and chicken w/ eggplant. The dumplings and scallion pizza came first - the dumplings were ok but had a ton of dough around them. We ate just the meat inside. I tried the dipping sauce that came with them and it tasted like straight up rubbing alcohol. The pizza looked like a lump of fried dough with no seasoning - it was like an inch thick. It tasted like crap - took one bite and didn't finish.

Then the main course came...my wife took a bite first and spit it out immediately. I looked at her kind of funny (we aren't that picky)...she told me to try it. I took a tiny bite of a piece of chicken - it was rancid. It tasted like it was sitting out for about a week, on a countertop, and then cooked.

We got up and walked out, left our food on the table, and will never go back.
