I mean, its Balthazar. The seed bread is especially tasty but everything is freshly baked on premise and super yummy.
Authentic Japanese food is back in Creskill. Worthy successor to Umeya. 100% owned by Japanese people - I've spoken with them. Great taste and great presentation. Tempura was perfect as was the udon. Not a drop of extra oil on the tempura, great texture and mouth feel for the udon, perfect broth. Sushi is great too - very fresh and also excellent presentation.
Great technician, and he used a serious fogger for the mosquito spray, but overall this is a pushy company focused on marketing and expansion. I found the card trying to guilt me into a 5 star review offensive. And the url for the customer portal is broken - security cert is wrong and the login page doesn't even exist. Not impressed. Was happier with my old company Chemtec that was bought out, making me a Viking customer not by choice but by acquisition.

Great whiskey and bourbon selection including many hard to find Japanese whiskeys. Nice outdoor seating area in back with view of mirror lake and the mountains. Food was a bit hit or miss. Mushroom toast and the risotto special were good, beat salad was forgettable. Co-owner Bill who is also the Maitre de very friendly and is the one who is into whiskey.
Meh. Just meh. Meh meh meh since yelp won't let me post short reviews. The pizza was just meh.
