So disappointed. We went here 2 years ago when we were on vacation & it was great. We went last night and we were so disappointed. It took nearly an hour to get our food delivered to the table. We had two fried meals & one lobster dinner. Our first sign should have been that there was only one other table filled on a Sat. night in July. Not busy, so it should not have taken that long. There were also not very great beer options (other than basic domestic) to kill the time.

When my fried scallops came out, to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. There were only a few that were actually circle in shape, but they were clearly sliced in half (or more?) and the rest were just pieces of fried batter. And definitely not a hearty portion either. I waited this long for this? Hubby's fried shrimp was ok, but nothing special, not a lot of flavor and about 30 minutes too late to the table!

Normally, I never complain about food because I don't want to wait for it to be remade or worse have something "done" to it. But, I have seen enough reviews & watched enough shows to know you need to give the establishment/manager/owner a chance to fix the problem. When asked about our meal, I said I was disappointed with clearly all the scallop pieces still on the plate. And the server just looked at me, and shrugged her shoulders and said, "really?" It was like she couldn't believe it. She didn't offer to fix it, make more, take anything off the bill or anything. She just walked away. (Owner's daughter, so guessing she should be familiar with how to handle complaints.)

The best part was our daughter's boiled lobster dinner. Can't beat fresh caught local lobster. Against my better judgement, we ordered it for my 5 year old. Ended up actually being the best decision. She loved it and ate it all!
So, if you still plan on going here, stick with the lobster.
