After spending $74 a month at Auto Bell this is a nice change. For under $30 a month I get a better wash and it's close to home. The car is dry when I come out. Nice people. I don't have to spend a half hour getting my car cleaned. I should've done this along time ago.

Great breakfast. The town is preparing for the azalea festival so we walked over to the Basics for breakfast. I had the server order for me and I was impressed! Mexican style breakfast scramble with home made salsa on top. The true star was the Potato cake. Yum! Great Mashed potatoes breaded and fried. On top of crème fraîche and topped with sour cream and scallions. Great meal!

We had 15 people and sat upstairs. Lots of Vets getting together. Our server, Michael, took great care of us and was on top of everything!

Well.... It was an amazing Mexican scramble with a potato cake. Highly recommended!

Difficult order today. I had stuff for the garage, stuff for the yard. A delivery and preordered shelves.

Crystal at customer Service handled my issues with a smile. I appreciate how hard customer service can be these days and it was refreshing to see.

Even when I hadn't activated my credit card she called and got it done for me. Thank you so much for having friendly faces to help.

Great change after the Biltmore. No frills just good food and friendly service.

I had the cowboy burger and my girlfriend had a Juicy Lucy burger. The cowboy was supposed to be Juicy Lucy style stuffed with cheese. I was disappointed to find a small frozen patty that was under seasoned and overcooked. Her burger though was stuffed with cheese. Perfect medium and well seasoned. ‍ so much for consistency.

Fries seemed hand cut and well seasoned. The onion rings were heavily hand breaded. Probably time to change the flour.

We came here because it was the #1 yelp restaurant in the area. They missed the mark this time but we will be back.

Long day at Biltmore and we stayed at the Grand Bohemian Hotel. Naturally we made reservations for the Red Stag.

Absolutely beautiful and historic location. The staff as top end for sure. Brian was our waiter and took excellent care. His suggestions were on point and we ended up with an old fashioned and the perfect pavlova. Both were well crafted drinks.

After such a full day we skipped appetizers but got a salad. She got the Caesar salad which had a homemade dressing and served as a heart of romaine cut in half. I ordeeed the wedge salad. To my pleasant surprise, it was a head of baby Iceburg cut in half served over a bed of mescaline mix tossed in olive oil and a touch of finishing sea salt. Topped with blue cheese crumbles, heirloom cherry tomatoes and pickled red onion. The dressing on the Iceburg was listed as a green goddess but I couldn't tell. It was just the high point of my meal!

We split the Wagyu Ribeye..now.... I've had quite a few Wagyu in my life but never an American hybrid. This was hardly a prime steak. I guess for a $110 steak I was expecting A5 Kumau but was disappointed with an almost crosscut dry ribeye. Under seasoned . It doesn't come with a side so I ordered the Mac and Cheese. Cooked with Beff Belly it was great but again under seasoned.

No dessert for us but for $200 I would have liked a better steak meal. We did enjoy our evening and I know my taste is not everyone's.... It was a good try once. Quite underwhelmed. Doubt we will be back.
