My friend and I stopped in to get take out from Swift Cafe today. I ordered the shrimp bowl and a key lime smoothie with coconut milk. The food was so great! The rice was epic with a little mango added in. The smoothie could have been twice the size, and I would have wanted more. This is a really great spot with really fresh and tasty options. Really cute little interior, too. Can't wait to go back when we can dine in!

I brought my shepsky, Zula, in for her trial day today, and WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE! All of the staff was so friendly and helpful, and they also were very enthusiastic about Zula. I loved being able to watch her on the webcam, and getting the report card after she'd been there a couple hours was a lovely surprise. I'm stoked about the number of hours South Park is open, too (until 9PM). Gives me so much freedom to make some plans after work here and there, maybe run some errands if I need to, and all without feeling rushed or stressed to make sure I don't miss closing time. Zula was only there for about four hours this time, but girlfriend is cuttin some Zzzzs right now like a champ. I feel so relieved to have this place so close to home, and we will definitely be going there regularly.

Thank you for bringing Zula in! We enjoy having her, she has made a lot of friends and seems to really enjoy her days here at South Park Doggie LAX. Her best friend Rocket, always appreciates it when Zula stops in!

My friend hired The Taco Guy for her birthday party a couple weeks ago, and I haven't been able to stop thinking about how great the food and service was. I didn't even think about the idea of hiring a taco cart for a party, but now it's top of mind, and I'd definitely go with this guy! I really appreciated how he brought mini quesadillas around as passed food. I probably ate more than I normally would have, since it was brought to me, but it was worth every moment of feeling too full later.

We were at The Cafe yesterday with a large group of friends for my birthday weekend, and this was the PERFECT location. We ended up spending about seven hours -- yep, SEVEN -- posted up at the upper deck right above the first bar when you come in for some umbrella shade. My husband and I brought our 70-lb dog and some of our friends brought their babies; this is a great environment for humans of all ages and for puppies alike. The drinks and wine are really good. Food is a little pricey for what it is, but let's be honest here, The Malibu Cafe is about the atmosphere. It's a little utopian respite from the typical Los Angeles hustle. My husband and I will celebrate our second anniversary next month, and I'm thinking that we'll need to go back for a little local day-cation. I just love how I feel when I'm there!

I just stayed in Fresno for a few days while my family and I visited Yosemite and we took a day off to relax a bit from all the driving. Looking for dog-friendly options, I found Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co on Yelp. It was a great choice, and my pup just laid on the floor and chilled. I really liked the IPA sour!
