This Mexican restaurant is decent. Food is a bit pricey but tastes good. I've gone a couple times and both times we were seated relatively quick considering how busy it was.
The service is VERY slow. Not sure if this is a staffing issue or we were low on the priority list. The staff are friendly but they need some help.
The vibe of the restaurant is typical of what you would expect for a Mexican restaurant on a weekend.
I do NOT recommend the corona on tap. Stick to the bottle

This is one of the best ice cream spots in the north towns! Loaded up with all the Perry's Ice Cream you could want. It's a good summer time location. The staff are nice and service is pretty quick. The only downside is cash-only.
I think it's a must-visit if you have anyone coming into town during the summer.

Jacksonville doesn't have a lot going on downtown. Was visiting for a conference and found this quaint spot near a brewery and thought, "why not tacos?"
The best menu item is the Mac & Cheese taco, and they have nice daily deals on Taco Tuesday, and buy 3 get a free side. Chips & queso were really good.
The back of the restaurant has a patio, which has a DJ, but tbh, wasn't really feelin it and neither was anyone else.

On the way out of Nashville, wanted to grab a breakfast bite from a non-chain. Came across Rise next to the Corner Pub. The prices were fair and I could crush a good southern chicken biscuit.

Was disappointed in the quality of chicken, too greasy. The biscuit fell apart before I could take one bite. I was expecting a bit more of a southern home feel, but this experience was far from it. Enjoy the counterculture if you're in to that.
