Chaotic, crowded office. Intake nurse seemed annoyed at the fact that I had a number of prescription medications to be entered into my chart at my first and only visit. Receptionist insisted I did not have a copayment as part of my insurance plan. I do, and I did, and I insisted on paying it at the time.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Scherl but was seen by someone else in the practice. My visit to the office was on 1/31/20 to remove a wart on my finger. The wart is still here.

I did not receive a first bill for my balance due until the middle of June. It is marked past due 90-120 days. I tried to pay the bill online with their payment processing service - which I have used successfully for paying other providers - but there was no record of the bill. I'm mailing a check which hopefully will eventually get to their post office box in Michigan and posted to my account before it goes into collection.

The negative reviews, of which this is one, are too similar to be coincidence.

I could have gone to some random place by my office in the city and I wouldn't have had to take off half the morning.

      Updated review

Impossible to get anyone on phone. Way overbooked. Overcrowded parking lot. Like being herded into a cattle car.

Update - ok its a year later and sitting here over an hour. My appointment was 2:50 and it's almost 4:00. They're still using the same excuses - doctor called to an emergency, etc.

Place is always dirty. At any given time they're out of half the items on the menu. But they sure have plenty of four dollar deserts and bottles of soda.

Staff is mostly high school kids who would rather be somewhere else.

Even by fast food standards this place is depressing.

They spend more money on advertising and fundraising than they do on customer service. After our latest in a series of bills that were not submitted to insurance, or submitted incorrectly, we have had enough. Not that valley or Hackensack are much better in this regard.

If you want the best care and reasonably well-run billing, go to Columbia or similar.

My wife and I both inquired on separate occasions from different members of the waitstaff and hostess if there was an age limit for the club and were told no age limit just for the DJ and dancing. We then booked our daughters birthday dinner for herself and a small group of friends, all under 21.

After dinner my wife and I excused ourselves and left. Half an hour later, our daughter called in tears and told us that she and her friends were ordered to leave the restaurant and stand out in the parking lot - at night and on a pier. Luckily we were still in the area and were able to retrieve them.

Otherwise, the food is Ok but pricey for what you get. Also, the service is friendly but slow and distracted.

As others have commented, this place doesn't know what it wants to be: a sports bar, a nightclub, or an upscale restaurant. Therefore, my wife and I were trying to enjoy a nice meal overlooking the water while the quite drunk guys at the next table were screaming at the Yankee game on the TV.
