Worst manicure I have ever had. Rude staff. Overpriced. There are plenty of other nail salons in the neighborhood that do QUALITY work unlike this place. I especially do not recommend Heather - she is incompetent, lazy, and rude, and definitely should not be in a customer facing role. I'm embarrassed for the owners of this place.

I live in NYC and my wedding was about 10 days ago. About a year before my wedding, I visited numerous high end bridal shops in NYC (Saks, Bergdorfs, Mark Ingram, Vera Wang, etc.) - and nothing clicked for me! When I stepped into Monique Lhuillier and got paired with my lovely bridal consultant, Midori, I knew my wedding dress was going to be a Monique Lhuillier! Midori was so patient with me and let me try on as many dresses as I wanted. Midori actually suggested for me to try on a dress that I had overlooked on the hanger, partially because it was about $4K over my initial budget. Their dresses start at around $3-4K and my initial budget was around $5K - they were accommodating with my budget, but you know sometimes you see something special and you just have to try it on? Well that's what happened - and in the end it was sooo worth it! When I tried on the dress, my mom and I immediately fell in love with it - thanks to Midori, who found my beautiful wedding dress, I had the wedding dress of my dreams. We bit the bullet and ended up spending almost $10,000 on my dress (not to mention the other costs - veil and alterations, etc.). If I could do it again, I would because Monique's dresses are a dream. Rita, the in-house master tailor, is fabulous to work with and made sure that the dress fit me like a glove, even if that meant giving me an extra fitting appointment (there's already 3 fitting appointments), and an extra appointment just to show my maid of honor how to bustle my dress. Everyone at ML was so helpful and sweet during the entire process, even when it came to picking out accessories, like my veil, my shoes, and my jewelry for the wedding day. I cannot thank everyone at Monique Lhuillier enough for making me feel like a princess in my wedding dress. Best bridal boutique in NYC, hands down.

Steve, Bonnie, and entire team at Superior Florist were amazing to work with from start to finish. Steve is so patient, responsive, and easy to work with. He made sure we saw eye to eye on everything, even if that meant meeting at 7:30AM to walk the flower district to pick out flowers and colors together. He was so informative, and taught me so much about different flowers and colors. Superior did our flowers for our wedding at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers and I was blown away by everything. He constructed a donut wall for us, a beautiful ceremony arch, a huge floral chandelier, and so much more. Our guests (and myself) were blown away by the centerpieces alone! I couldn't have imagined working with a different florist - Steve was on point in every way imaginable. His team even picked up our 200 donuts from the bakery the morning of our wedding and assembled them onto our donut wall. Steve and his team really went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. I can't thank Steve enough for making our wedding as beautiful as it possibly could have been! They started working on our decor at the venue 3 days prior to the wedding - that's dedication! Another plus - his prices are extremely reasonable and he will work with you to keep you in line with your budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Steve - he and his team honestly did everything they could to make us happy. Thanks so much for an unforgettable wedding Steve and Superior Florist!!!!!

My husband and I had a terrible and stressful experience working with The Knot Standard for his wedding day outfit. I wouldn't recommend going near this company with a ten foot pole.

On April 7th, we went to the showroom and ordered a full tuxedo, vest, and custom shirt for around $3800, with a guaranteed turnaround time of 4-6 weeks. Kendall was perfectly nice in showing us our options and selling us the full wedding day outfit. Before we placed our order and paid in full, we stressed that we needed to have everything ready by June 15th, 2 weeks before our wedding, in case of any last minute alterations/mishaps. Everyone at The Knot Standard was very reassuring that my fiance's wedding outfit would be ready on time, by June 15th, our requested finish.

After 6 weeks go by, and no status update on our quite pricey and important order, we contacted Kendall via e-mail. She responded to the e-mail by saying that she didn't know when the order would be ready. She continued to make excuses about losing a member of the production team, so that's why our order was back-ordered with no guaranteed finish date. We were worried, but stayed calm, and tried to give The Knot Standard the benefit of the doubt that everything would be fine in the end. We thought that we should have received an update as part of professional courtesy, but didn't think much of it. Kendall wrote to us soon after that we would be able to come into the store on May 31st to try everything on. We were happy and relieved that the outfit was in and "ready," even though we waited around 7 and a half weeks for something that was supposed to be finished in 4-6 weeks. We're reasonable people, so, again, didn't think much of the fact that it was about a week later than expected.

We got to the store on Wednesday, May 31st, and my fiance tried on his outfit. Let's remember here that when we placed the order, Kendall took every single measurement needed to make the tuxedo pants, coat, vest, and shirt. Everything should have fit decently enough, right? Wrong. The pants did not fit at all, the vest was way too small, the jacket was too loose (it looked like something he could have purchased off the rack), and the shirt's neck was way too small (this is such a basic measurement that we were surprised when the shirt didn't fit his neck, aside from everything else, considering we had spent 2 hours at our first meeting for measurements). For bespoke clothing, the quality of the tuxedo, shirt, and vest were sub par and definitely not worth the price. We paid for Zegna fabric which was priced much higher than their standard fabric, and it looked like a rental tux. At that point, we were so tired of KS that we just wanted to get this tuxedo debacle over with and have something that he could wear for our wedding day, which was only a few weeks away. After all, there is a LOT that goes into wedding planning, so we didn't want to get bogged down with his tuxedo - this should have been pretty straightforward.

In the middle of that appointment, I noticed that the jacket pockets were not what we had ordered. (Why didn't Kendall notice that the pockets were wrong in the first place? Because she was trying to cover up another mistake.) When I pointed this out to Kendall, that we had in fact ordered slanted pockets to match the slanted button holes on the cuffs, she tried to convince us that I incorrectly remembered what we had ordered! I was pretty pissed but kept my cool. So next, I ask her to pull up the original order - she fumbled and stalled a bit, never showed us the original order on the ipad that was in her hand, and then finally admitted that she must have ordered the wrong jacket pockets, since the button holes were slanted. (Obviously we would have matched the jacket pocket slant to the button holes being slanted, so it seemed pretty slimy that she tried to lie about that.) She said that she could "try to rush order a new jacket with the right pockets but couldn't guarantee that it would be ready in time for our wedding" - and that if the new jacket wasn't ready, we could wear the incorrect jacket for the wedding -- and swap it out for the new jacket AFTER the wedding. Kendall was so casual about this, it really concerned me. They messed up almost every aspect of this whole process and weren't really apologetic. We didn't want the correct jacket AFTER our wedding - we paid a good chunk of money to have the correct jacket 2 weeks before our wedding, actually.

A couple of weeks after that, KS called to say that the fabric for his jacket was back ordered, and it most likely wasn't going to be ready by July 2 - even though they would try their best to rush it. As consolation, Kendall offered to throw in a free SECOND tuxedo in a comparable fabric to what we originally ordered and a free blazer - both which would be ready, again, AFTER our wedding.

One star for giving us a refund 3 days before our wedding after some heated emails and calls with the manager.

Amazing gem of a store in the UES on Madison Avenue. The most friendly, helpful service from every single sales associate we've interacted with here. My fiance and I purchased his tuxedo for our wedding from here, and the store manager was so on top of everything - he even made sure that he got pinned right for the alterations by their in-house master tailor. The store manager and sales associate must have spent a few hours with us on a Saturday afternoon going through every little detail of the tuxedo! We were totally blown away. Everyone is so sweet here - it's definitely worth coming here to purchase anything from Lanvin for the exceptional service, attention to detail, and superb quality products. Thanks so much guys!!!
