I like this store and it is the closest one to us but I am sick and tired of them NOT having carts available! I have visited them at least 4 times in the last 3 months, where the shopping cart bags were completely empty. This is the foundation you build on and come to expect at any store where they want you to buy lots of things. I have nicely alerted a manager and went back out to scramble for my own cart but this is getting silly. The manager today said they were short handed. I would be understanding , due to snow, but this has happened 3 other regular non-weather issue days. He told me they were short handed. While I was shopping I saw 2 guys just talking in produce, 4 employees just walking around and one lady changing signs. There were 2 managers on duty. I mean I felt like I saw more Kroger employees inside then shoppers. There was an elderly man/customer in the milk Dept that had gotten a basket to carry and he had it sitting in the middle of the aisle, while he got his items. I would have given my cart to him if it wasn't already full. It was a sad sight. Then I get to the register and guess what? Yeah, only two cashiers with 4-5 people waiting in each line. Something needs to happen and fast or I will be taking my business elsewhere. Be aware... if you see people leaving the store w nothing in there hands, that probably means they're coming out to search for a cart. I've had that happen twice, the nice thing was they usually tell you so you can stop and get a cart. There was a younger gal today that just made eye contact and said nothing.
