      I made an appointment at the Rehoboth Beach, DE Petco for my dog to be groomed. I was told the cost would be $50. When I arrived at the store 2 weeks later for the appointment, I was told the groomer did not come in to work and my dog could not be groomed. Later that day I got a call at home asking me to bring my dog in the next day, which I accepted.

      When I dropped her off the next day, the girl at the salon told me the grooming would be $76, not the $50 that was originally quoted. After speaking to the manager of the store, we agreed on a $61 price. End of story? Nope. When I picked my dog up I was handed a bill for $66.

      Save yourself the trouble, cross Petco off your list when looking for a groomer.

      This was our first visit to The Palace. I ordered a chef's salad and a cup of soup, and my wife got a tuna salad sandwich. Our server was friendly and service was above average. The coffee was the biggest surprise, good and strong. Food was better than average but the portions could have been a bit larger for the prices charged. Rest room was not very clean. Overall impression...not bad, and we'll give The Palace another try, next time for dinner.

      The Palace doesn't quite measure up against, say, Rudy's Diner in Harrington, but for us, it's worth another visit.

      We've eaten at Legend several times since the new owners took over. The food and the service have been above average. However, on our last two visits, we referred back to the menu and found we were overcharged on the check, and both times when we spoke to our servers we got a very rude argument. The owner seemed disinterested on both occasions and left it to the waitresses to handle the situation. Needless to say, the overall experience was not very good.

      We'll try a different restaurant next time we go out, and for those of you who do go to Legend, make sure your check is accurate!

      This was our second trip to Franco's. We were impressed with the food, the portions and the service the first time we ate there, but our second visit was very disappointing. The food was as good as the first visit, but the service was not very good at all. Our server disappeared after she brought our food and never came over to check up on us during our meal. As a matter of fact, she didn't even bring us our check at the end of the meal! After waiting nearly 25 minutes for our check, I went up to the counter without one and told the cashier what we had for dinner so we could pay and leave. That's when our server quickly came over with our check, and the check was incorrect! No apology, just excuses. With that level of inconsistency in service from one visit to the next, we probably will not go there again. The food is good, but the poor service ruined the experience.

      A great neighborhood market and grocery store. Fresh meat, poultry and fish, along with breads, rolls, salads, baked goods and dairy essentials. They'll even make a fresh deli sandwich to order. Service is fast and friendly. What more could you want? Highly recommended!
