Cute little west coast taco place next to NYU. Stopped by with the family during his move in. The interior is simple and very clean. They also have a outside seating as an option. Nice layout for a quick bite.

For the food: We had the fish tacos which was crunchy and good overall. If it was a little less fried, I think it would have been great. The shimp taco i liked but my son did not like it. My wife and son loved the pork chorizo. The flavor and the sizable amount of ingredients was generous.

The price was very reasonable and affordable considering that they are very close to the vicinity of NYU and the high rent. They did brisk business throughout the time we were there, which is a good sign.

We would definitely go back and explore everything on their menu.

What an amazing store! I recently went in looking for fabrics for masks and was blown away by the selection. From the outside, the shop is not that big and can easily be missed. ( I went back and forth on Kingshighway twice looking for it) But once you go in, it sure packs a punch. The shop literally had inventory from floor to (high)ceiling and was extremely organized. They used every square inch of space and then some! The aisles are narrow but inviting and it was beckoning me for some exploration. The shop had everything I needed. Every kind of fabric I can imagine to elastics for my small project. (Not only that, but they had everything I would ever need in the future for any other project I tackle) I used to frequent Michael's but what I found is that the similar products they sell are not the same quality as Lana's. The price point is almost the same but the value coming from the quality of the product cannot be measured. Very very impressive!
What was more impressive is the staff. The owner, Joe, is the grandson of the original owner, Lana. From what I understand, this was once a toy store in the '70s called "Jack's" but once Lana's husband passed, she converted it to a fabric store. The store has been going strong for 48 years! Considering that most established shops on Kingshighway ( a once staple shopping district) are either gone or are on their last legs, the longevity and the cult status of this shop speaks volumes about their role in the community.
Joe must be one of the most dedicated shop owners I've ever met. For him to deal with mature ladies looking for specific products on a daily basis is nothing short of a miracle. I don't know where he finds his patience. Imagine an army of grandma's ganging up on him, barking orders at him from all directions. I was getting flustered, just observing this scene. His easy-going style and his encyclopedic knowledge of the hobby makes him THE guy to know in the industry. Oh yeah, he also knows where everything is in the store. The highest of the high rating and a business like this must be supported and needs to survive for the next generation. This business really has it going on.

I've been running large events for 5 years now. This is the 2nd time I've tried Rentastic and am very glad that I did. We requested 40 long tables for a Yu Gi Oh card tournament. They arrived Friday without a hitch to be picked up on Monday. But on Saturday night, as the staff was finishing setting up, I noticed that one table was broken. I emailed them the photos and really just expected a refund on 1 table but at around 11pm ,I get a phone call from Abe. He told me that he would we d an replacement. Honestly, I thought that he was just giving me lip service. But lo and behold, at 3am Sunday morning , one of his staff, replaced the broken table. I am very impressed. This is how you run a business. The owner went out of the way to stand by his product at an ungodly hour. For this I salute you and will be giving you all my business from now on. BY the way, all of Abe's tables are top of the line birch, smooth and no water damage. Here are some photos from the event this past Sunday 4/14/19 at Aviator in Brooklyn.

I would 5 star them but the wait time was beyond ridiculous. Put my order in for a smoothie and waited 45 mins. When they did not even start my order after patiently waiting, I paid for my order and told them, I'll be back in an hour. I was going to be late to my appointment. Came back an hour later and it was ready and delicious. But seriously, this is probably not the way to run a business. Only one person at the counter, taking orders and working the register while there are 4-5 people waiting for their order. Ironically, in the midst of waiting, another gentleman from the back came out to help. He took one order and asked if we are waiting. We said we are and he never came back. He went straight to the back/kitchen and never to be seen again. Smh.

They have really good ambiance. It's very bohemian with ample seating and looks like they have regular local events. The counter person making the smoothie was very cordial but seemed overwhelmed that day.
I own a local shop so I hate to call them out on this but , to survive in this expensive retail rent district, you have to be more efficient to make it in the long run. I will revisit and update my review but I really hope they get their act together. I mentioned this wait time to my associate and he told me the same thing. That he avoids this place due to the wait time.

Came to Princeton for a tour and ran into the cutest and the warmest burger joint in town.
The burger was juicy and served on a Kaiser roll w/ caramelized onions. Delicious! Also the onion ring was to die for! It had a special batter that made it crunchy and brought out the flavor. The ceaser chicken wrap was also very good. It had a nice combination of flavors bursting in your bite. But the best part of this small gem is the owner her self! Trini takes time to talk to her customers and gives her unique visual tour of Princeton. Oh and did I mentioned that there is an original Banksy hanging on the wall behind her? What an amazing place!!!!
