I received one brief message to my request for an estimate, then it was like he disappeared. Not even the decency to say "eh not able to get you, not interested.." Nothing, now I'd probably hire a guy off the street who may at least have an understanding of customer service.

I'd ordered a board to repair my salt system through Amazon. I had trouble getting things going from the start. The dealer has yet to return my call. I managed to stumble onto the optimum site, and I must say Tom and his customer service were fantastic. Though he didn't have to deal with me, he took the time to talk me through the whole process, and assisted with troubleshooting over 3 days, even calling me on his day off (a Saturday) to ensure we got everything up and running smoothly. Thanks Tom, what you provided was the epitome of customer service, my family and I thank you.

This place had been a favorite of my wife and myself for the last few years. We would make the drive a couple of times a year, enjoy Boone, Banner Elk, and what had always been some outstanding Cajun food as we honeymooned in New Orleans, and this was always a somewhat sentimental experience for us as well. Regardless, this year what we expected and what we received we very different. When we arrived, the staff we all huddled at the back of the bar talking, and we waited as they deliberated on who would take the role of hostess. Once we were finally seated, our waitress came to the table, and we quickly learned a few things, the first was she didn't want to be there, the second she was clueless as to what drinks they had ( we are talking coke, pepsi, etc, not even going to imagine how her head may have exploded if we had asked what was on tap) third was that she was so unfamiliar with the menu, when we asked about fried crawfish, which we've had on every occasion, and is still listed as a platter, she began to fumble and stammer as to if it was even still a menu option. After she disappeared for some time, she came back to inform us that this "Cajun" restaurant, no longer had crawfish as an option. Disappointed as we were, we selected a few things we've had in the past, as we knew they'd previously been well prepared...again we were disappointed. Gumbo was fishy, and overly spicy... the red beans and rice were just the opposite, bland. I know that places have to change things up on occasion, but if it's working, why mess with it? I imagine this is one very nice advantage to being one of the only games in town. When people have only one option, well there is no option. And back to the coke or pepsi... it was pespi.. from a can... at $1.75 a can... this is one time it's almost cheaper to drink beer. Management needs to look at how they are doing business, or someone will figure out it's worth the drive on in to Boone for options.

Tressy has been taking care of my place for a little over a year now. Started out having her come in every other week, but it wasn't long until I decided that the quality of the work we were getting for what we were paying, and the amount of stress it was taking off of us at the end of the week, every other week simply wasn't enough.

Tressy is very accommodating and goes well beyond what you would expect from most services of this kind. She's always been flexible with our schedule, and if we've needed an extra cleaning here and there she's always found a way to work us in.

She always follows up with us, and any concerns I've ever had (and let me say there have been very few if any) were always addressed and never have I had the same twice.

I can't imagine life with On The Ball Cleaning... I've recommend them to many friends, all of whom have been as equally as thrilled as I am, if not more so...

Give them a call... Let them change your life as well...

I had a transmission hose blow on my 2004 BMW. The dealership wanted $285 for the hose alone, and couldn't have the part to me until Tuesday. Mike found a local place to cut and make the hose, he put it on, parts and labor wasn't much more than BMW wanted for the part. He was very accommodating, great to work with, and wasn't looking to find all sorts of "extras" to stick me with just to make a buck. Honest guy, I know that nobody likes when your car breaks down, but when mine does, or needs work, I'll be calling Mike.
