I usually come here on pasta night, which is monday and tuesday, or chicken night, which is Wednesday, but this time I went on a regular night. My girlfriend and I each got a meal and they cane out in HUGE portions. I got the gnocchi pesto which is served in a pesto cream sauce and grilled chicken. It was amazing. My girlfriend got a dish called gamberetto, which was shrimp and artichoke hearts with spinach and cherry tomatoes. That was great as well. I think the food here is really good especially for the price. This is now becoming my go to place for a quick, nice dinner out especially on a weekday night after work when I'm too busy to cook. As usual, I checked in on Yelp and showed the waiter for 15% off the bill.
I took a date there on chicken night, which is Wednesday. My date was very picky and asked the hostess twice to change our seats. They happily obliged. Our waiter was very nice. The menu said the entree came with salad and pasta. The food was delicious and when we were done, our Easter informed us that it also came with coffee and dessert. My dates glass of wine was, in her words, "ginormous". For around $17 a meal, it was a GREAT deal. If that's not great enough, heres a pro tip; if you use Yelp to check-in, you get 15% off. I would totally recommend going in and sitting down to eat any night you dont feel like cooking at home.
I come to this deli whenever I'm working in the area. Every time it's a bomb egg sammy. the steak n eggs is real marinated flank steak, where most places give you deli sliced roast beef and call it steak. The loaded home fries are amazing too.
I had a good time here for my first time trying cider and actually liking it. I always thought cider was too sweet and was never interested in going until my girlfriend asked if we can go try it. Now I know that there are sweet ciders and dry ciders, just like wine. the decor was beautiful and the crowd and staff were very nice and hospitable. the prices for drinks were reasonable. However, the food, it seems, is a different entity from the cider house. You have to pay separate and it is kind of pricey. $19 bucks for a flatbread and $12 for a caprese salad just seemed a little steep considering they were is a refrigerator and under a heat lamp.
My friends and I went there for a glass of wine after a day of apple picking. We walked up to the bar and made our choice, only for the bartender to say that we have been over served. it was our first winery of the day. He must have had us confused with a different group. Upon explaining this to him, he did not agree and asked us who was driving. I understand the responsibility that wineries take on as an establishment but to deny people who just walked in the door is a little strange
I used uber eats to get some curried goat. in the order menu there was a spot for notes so I asked for oxtail hravy on top of my rice. I also opted for an extra charge to have cheese in my beef party. well the food came and neither of those were in my order. the food was ok....not good. not bad. just eh.
