I used to shop here all the time. I stopped coming here because of the endless lines and grumpy staff. Came by here today because I needed something for a project and forgot how bad the customer service was. I got on line to pay and there was hardly a line, just 2 people in front of me and 3 cashiers working. An older lady was at the front of the line. She was a bit slow walking up to the cashier and perhaps a little hard of hearing and couldn't hear the cashier calling next. The cashier rudely yelled out several times without looking at the lady. The customer behind the lady quietly made fun of her behind her back. Another customer laughed out loud and the lady could see them laughing at her. Just awful behaviors all around from staff and customers. Rude, mean people laughing at an older lady and ignoring her instead of helping her or talking to her. I was so disgusted, I put my things back and left the store. I will not shop here again.

The new location at 64th Street is spacious and close to Riverside Park. I've been seeing my primary care doctor at the Lighthouse Guild for a couple years now, and she has been thorough and pleasant. The front desk is generally helpful and the nurses are nice. Sometimes there is a long wait. I also saw a physiatrist and a physical therapist here, and my experiences with them were mixed. The physical therapist was friendly and knowledgeable, but his opinions may conflict with the doctor's and he got defensive when I told him that some of his suggestions didn't work for me. I have to remind him of my medical situation/history at every session as if I was a new patient every time when he could simply look at my records. My sessions were often interrupted by his attention to other patients in the room. The exercises he showed me were helpful, but the interruptions, lack of focus, and defensive attitude made it not worth the repeat therapy visits.

This is a neighborhood favorite. Decent omelettes, friendly service on most days, reasonable prices, and convenient location. A good place for brunch.

Dr. Triccoli was inappropriate and unprofessional when I saw him for a body check for skin cancer, and the removal of a skin growth on my scalp. During my visit, I was not given a chance to disrobe, or given a gown for a full body check. Instead, Dr. Triccoli started by looking around my head and neck. Then without notice, he pulled out my shirt collar and looked down my chest. That was disturbing and completely inappropriate. I was in shock of his behavior. I told him I could take off my shirt for a proper check because I wanted him to stop pulling on my shirt and looking down my chest like a creep. He ignored me. I repeated myself and again he ignored me. It was upsetting. How can a doctor behave like this with female patients and not get sued?
He also failed to remove the skin growth on my scalp. He barely looked at it and said it did not look cancerous. I asked him to remove it. He sprayed liquid nitrogen on it and told me it would scab and fall off. It's been 2 weeks and it scabbed only a little bit and did not fall off. The growth remains the same as before as if nothing happened.
In my experience, Dr. Triccoli's behavior was disturbingly inappropriate and his treatment was ineffective.

Joe was the sales rep who called me to schedule a splint fitting after my foot surgery. He was unbelievably pushy about getting a time that was convenient for him and repeatedly ignored me when I told him I couldn't do it at the time and location he wanted. My insurance was paying for his service, but he acted like I had to cater to him. Totally unprofessional.
