"Sorry, we closed early today"
No reason. Just cuz.
Okay. But maybe then don't have your hours posted?
Mainly just writing this review as a warning to other folks that the hours are... a suggestion.
I've been here three times and have had three very different experiences.
The first was great. Staff was friendly, and I was seen fairly quickly.
But the problem is sometimes the doctors. Second time I was seen was the worst experience with a doctor I have ever had in terms of being judgmental and not informative.
Today I come and they aren't even seeing patients for *an hour* because the doctor has a conference call. What's the point of being open if you cannot actually see any patients? Just close. Ridiculous.
I mean, fine as a grocery store probably, but don't bother going to their cafe for food. We got there in what we thought was plenty of time before their hot bar closed. Asked what time they normally closed and the woman working told us "7:30". It was 6:45. Not because of any reason in particular, nothing was broken, just cuz, I guess. Which is indicative of lazy management to me. Good times.
Last time I was at Up the Creek was probably 4-5 years ago, when it was a family favorite, especially the amazing sweet potato fries.
We went this year and I found the prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. The fish tacos were just okay. Those fries, which used to be homemade and sprinkled with brown sugar, were the premise frozen variety.
One would imagine a hike in prices might be met with an increase in quality, but I'm going to suggest we look for a different restaurant for our meal out as a family next year.
Walked all the way here to get my passport photo taken only to find the least helpful staff and equipment that allegedly doesn't work. Based off other low star reviews I wager Rite Aid would be better served investing their time and energy in burning this location to the ground and firing everyone on staff.
