Ok, so as a millennial, I've signed some sort of blood contract to love avocado toast I guess? But it is really good and the Press does a really good version. It's smallish, but filling. I also really like their coffee, it isn't too acidic and has a nice flavor. Just wish they were open Sunday!

I tried this out today and was very pleased. I had the carne asada and Al pastor tacos. Everything was fresh and flavorful, the fresh corn tortillas were good. Chips were nice and fresh too. I'll definitely be back to try more, the vegetarian filling looks great (looked like grilled squash, peppers, corn?). The service staff were all friendly and efficient, looks like a good setup, glad to add a place like this to my work lunch options.

I had previously dabbled a bit in yoga, but never found a version I really liked. When I found out that I was pregnant, I knew prenatal yoga was something I wanted to try. I really lucked out, because the prenatal yoga class taught here by Lainie was a) the best yoga class I've ever taken and b) exactly what my body needed to cope with the stress of a twin pregnancy! Lainie is a very calm and supportive teacher. She is particularly great at helping her students modify postures to suit their particular needs and abilities. I also took her childbirth partner workshop, and my super skeptical anti-woo husband enjoyed it too and we found it to be useful when the time came. I was able to have a twin vaginal birth, which is fairly rare and I give a lot of credit to the stretching I did in that class (and dumb luck in my girls were well positioned). I highly recommend both the class and the workshop to any expectant mothers.

I've been going to Claudine for hair care since I was a teenager. She's just a wonderful person, as well as being a great stylist. I have long, fine hair that tends to split a lot, a few years back when I wanted to chop it all off she gave me a fabulous 'do and when I decided to grow it back out she gave me plenty of support and encouragement. I couldn't recommend her highly enough :)

I've been coming to Kamakura for years and years now, and they never fail to provide the best sushi. I love Momo's Special Roll particularly, tempura asparagus, avocado and salmon. My other favorite dish here: the regular miso soup. So intensely flavorful and filled with tasty bits of onion and tofu and crunchy little things that might be droplets of fried tempura batter?

One of the best things to love about this place is the quality of the waitstaff, sushi chefs, and esp the owner, Ms. Faith. Whenever I go here, I feel welcomed and at home, everyone is friendly and attentive. One of the best places to go to eat by yourself, you won't feel lonely :)
