Where was this place when I was avoiding dairy???

Sampled coffee cake and ube bread. Left with pandan cake and some mini doughnuts.

Overall, you can taste the quality ingredients in these. There's slightly less moisture in these than the non vegan counterparts, but the ingredient quality taste makes up for it.

I enjoyed the pandan cake. Not too sweet and had a pandan flavor. The frosting didn't have any flavor of soy or coconut or anything indicating it was vegan besides slightly in texture.

I'll definitely come back to try more.

The place was quiet when we came in before 5:30, yet more and more people came after us, ordered, and received their food before us. We ordered like 3 things, nothing crazy. Then those people who came in after us finished eating. Finally after maybe 35 minutes we got the food. The signature dumplings were good, but the other stuff was nothing to write home about. As we were starting to eat, more people came in, ordered, and got their food quickly.

While the price was fine, this was unreasonable waiting time and no explanation whatsoever.

My first time trying a place like this. Got too much food even though I really didn't take too much of any one thing, but I was sharing with my daughter (and still took home a lot). The tomato broth was unexpectedly delicious.

I really loved all the tripe... next time I will focus on veggies and tripe. The blood cubes were not like the ones I am familiar with but not bad.

Very clean in both food and eating areas.

I miss Woodranch, but I'm glad another barbecue place came in here.

The smoked turkey was so juicy. The grilled cheese was very generous. Kids burger is a smashed burger. Lots of flavorful side options as well, a solid three cheese mac n cheese.

Overall great for those meat cravings. Will definitely be back.
