I am pretty picky when it comes to restaurants. If I can make it at home, I don't want to pay 10x more out. So it means a lot when i say Tre Pazzi is my absolute favorite restaurant! Their prices are reasonable considering what they could charge for their dishes. We are a young family with two children and don't make a whole lot, but we like to save up and come here for date night. We never have been disappointed.
The only time we had to send food back, the chef was in Italy researching new dishes. We had ordered the Fruiti del Mar pasta (spicy and incredibly delicious!) and the trout was way overdone but we sent it back, the comped us our beer, and it came out perfect in no time.
This latest visit was for Valentine's Day and we shared the rack of lamb and the Linguini and clams. The linguini was rich and sweet with a fresh finish of a light lemon flavor, not overpowering at all. The lamb was so tender and buttery and rich and the green beans were perfectly cooked- bright green and firm- with the perfect amount of garlic.
