Ever since our previous Asian spot started cutting corners on quality a few years ago, we switched to Angkor. This is our go-to, and we go about once a week.

Fresh, outstanding food, fast pickup, friendly staff, and very reasonable prices. Pad Thai noodles, sesame chicken, and vegetable egg foo young are favourites with us. The teriyaki chicken skewers are a great appetizer, and in fact practically make a meal unto themselves.

You call it in, they tell you what time to pick up. Stop in, pay, grab it and go.

I've been a home brewer and a customer of Brew & Grow for close to 7 years now. I can always count on friendly service and a good selection of supplies. This store has saved my arse more than a few times by having what I need when it's crunch time. Need a hard-to-find fitting or piece of hardware? Quite likely, they have it. Only gripe: their grain prices are on the high side, but that's a moot point as I buy grain online from places that do free shipping. But for most everything else, Brew & Grow fits the bill.

Not what it used to be, and it makes me sad.

We had been loyal customers of 5 Spice for close to 10 years. Always had great food and generous portions. But the last couple times we ordered food, it was disappointing. I think they have been trying to save a little money by using cheaper ingredients, and it shows. We used to love the chicken wings--big juicy ones with awesome teriyaki sauce. The last two times the wings were so scrawny I had to wonder if they were pigeon wings. Of course they weren't, but they were so small and dry there was not much meat to gnaw off those tiny bones. But the same price, of course.

LeAnn Chin seems to be the best bet around here. I wish we had a Panda Express close by.

Was traveling up hwy. 65 and stopped in to get some steaks to take to the lake. Most of the meat in the counter looked like it had been sitting there a long time. A long, looooonnnng time. Like, kind of greyish-brown and not very appealing. Hork. The girl behind the counter looked like she was about to fall asleep on her feet. It was around noon on a Saturday and the whole place looked dead.

I walked out and got everything I needed at the Coborn's a half mile away.

Food was so-so, service was below minimum, drinks were horrid. Ordered a margarita on the rocks and received this nasty concoction in a solo cup. Too much cheap tequila (only flavor was alcohol burn), no salt on the rim. The kind of drink you'd expect in a frathouse. I had the red snapper--it was cooked to near dryness, no flavor. The waiter disappeared and he never brought the glasses of water and extra napkins we asked for, so I had to go to the bar and get them myself.

Were these people raised by wolves, or home-schooled, or something?
