I'm compelled to leave a review after having dinner here last night (Saturday night) & two weeks after the re-open. The reviews are seemingly negative to the degree that I was reconsidering the reservation--though I'm glad I kept it.
The ambiance is great & service is good. While it's apparent they're ramping back up, our server was helpful & knowledgeable. I will acknowledge that the food is good and seems slightly overpriced for what you get. BUT if you're looking for delicious Greek food & an upscale dining experience, I would recommend Philotimo. Please don't count them out!
Among the many restaurants I ate at to celebrate my birthday in Austin, this place still stands out. The food was all uniquely tasty & the fusion concept is clearly well executed here. Love the hipster vibes, outdoor area, great service, and it's pretty well-priced considering the value. Will be recommending all my friends to visit here whenever they're in Austin.
This place is an absolute vibe. Exceptional pasta and cocktails. Being seated inside offers up a fun experience watching the chefs prepare the food. Outside seating is great too & top-tier for people watching in SoHo.
I've been here for a few celebratory meals for brunch & dinner & seated both inside & out. Always the best food plated & impeccable service every time I've been here. This restaurant is a true D.C. gem for what are now very obvious reasons.
This restaurant has good vibes and good dishes for sure.
I came here for dinner with my fiancé on a Saturday evening and we were quickly seated inside--even though there were tables outside. The service was excellent and everyone was attentive.
But, we got the artichoke which was basically inedible and wouldn't recommend that at all. Though the pasta dishes were good, the portion sizes are smaller than they should be. I got the beef short rib pasta & it was tasty--but just enough IMO.
I think the brunch offering might be a better situation so I'll be back but just not for dinner.
