Convenient? Yes, but you aren't guaranteed a parking spot and may have to pay for parking on the street anyways.

Close to the beach? Yes, but so are the parking spots and you can sleep at a WAY better hotel or motel for the same price.

Clean? Nope. See the images included in this review. They do not lie.

Friendly? Other than Sheila, who did the right thing when we had a family emergency and had to leave, otherwise "management" was going to want a doctor's note? Uh.. none of you business and is that even legal? The rest of the staff had a kind of attitude just not caring.

Our first impression was getting to our room and the lights would not turn on. We arrived after a long road trip, so it was dark upon our arrival. We sat in the dark for 15 minutes. Which is about 15 minutes too long since the lights should have worked from get go. How did housekeeping clean with no lights? An engineer came in and did something to get the lights to work. He then had to leave to get more extension cords.

Being an older hotel, I get it.. but to have all the lights plugged into extension cords around the room seems out of code and a fire hazard.

You have to pay for WiFi $10 laughable!

TV in the room? Yes. Digital so there are channels like 23-4. Is there a channel list in the room? No.

Welcome folder / about the hotel or surrounding area on the desk in the room? Nope. They don't have those. Motels have those, and every other hotel we have stayed at do.. not the Berkeley.

The bathroom has been updated, but since our sink didn't drain quickly, you have about 2 inches to wash you hands / face without touching the dirty water or sink.

One of the bellman offered me and I overheard the desk clerk, offer 10% off their next stay if they rated 5 stars here on TripAdvisor. Shady.

Icing on the cake: While checking out, there was a huge house centipede crawled around out and was on the floor in front of the front desk. The bellman saw it, and kept walking.

They offer "coffee" in the morning for $2, and you get complimentary refills. How about getting coffee makers in every room like every other hotel we have stayed in? We suggest taking a 5 minute walk to the convention hall to get some real coffee.

Great place to hang out and have some dranks, and just as great place to for lunch or dinner.
      Their. Food. Is. Phenominal.
Easily recommend Punch Bowl Social to anyone that likes a fun, laidback, yet swanky atmosphere, and great food / drinks!!

We had a friend of a friend that was going to make custom cookies for our wedding fall through at the last moment. I called the bakery, and Freeman and his team assured me that they could get order completed in 2 days. We had our cookies in time for our reception, and not only did they look fabulous, they were delicious. Not one cookie left!

I would highly recommend the Cornwall Bakery any day of the week.

I went to fill my tank. I use the BP Rewards.
This gas station DOES NOT allow you purchase gas with Debit at the Pump
This gas station also MAKES you choose if you want a car wash every time you have a transaction at the pump.

I went inside to pay for gas, and I was using my BP Rewards card. (-5 cents/gal), and was paying with my Debit Card, (-10 cents/gal) total of 15 cents off each gallon.

I went out to the pump, and could only select ultimate. I did not ask for Ultimate.
I went inside and informed the older Middle Eastern guy. He said that we would have to cancel the entire transaction. (this would also use up my 5 cents off reward)

Did the transaction again, and he pushed the credit button on the card swiper, when I told I was using debit.

      Cancel Transaction.

Did the transaction again, Swiped my rewards card. No rewards available.
I informed the Old Guy. He went to another machine and gave me the 5 cent/gal discount. I paid with my Debit Card.

I went out to the pump, and the regular price was $3.43. Price on my pump: $3.38 (5 cents off)

I went back inside to inform the Old Guy that I didn't get my discount for using my Debit Card. He said "it will show up when you are finished." (this has never been the case before, and any other BP)

I filled up and the price per gallon never changed, so I went back inside.

There was quite a large line now, I gave him my receipt, and said that since I used my debit card, he owed me 10 cents for every gallon that I pumped (12 gallons total).
He told me he could not do that, and I informed him that I will be standing here until he does, since he was the one that messed up the entire transaction!

I explained that I was supposed to get 10 cents off a gallon, since I was using Debit, and then also had a 5 cent discount from BP Rewards.

He asked why I didn't just pay at the pump, and I stated that "You don't allow for debit transactions at the pump at this station." He agreed.

Then he said, I remember you had a problem a while ago, (when a trainee was working), and he told me to "Take my business elsewhere." and gave me the $1.20.

I will NEVER go to this gas station again, and am reporting my experience to BP directly.

Incidentally, the printed receipt says Cherry Hill Amoco..

I feel this is the the closest you can get to a real Italian Pizza, outside of Italy. I have been to Italy several times and they pizzas there are made just like Genova.

If you are looking for heavy breading or thick crusts, this is not the place for you. We get pizzas here every week (usually Friday), and they have steadily increased in clientele, as we have been loyal customers since Genova opened in Canton.

I have even eaten Tony Succo's before and think Genova easily wins over them. Genova's service is super friendly, courteous, and fun loving. The pizza is probably the healthiest you can find in Canton, since the crust is wonderfully thin.

We will be going there again at he end of the week. Hope to see you there!
