I've been getting shots here for several months and my experience has always been excellent.
My favorite aspect of this clinic is how friendly everyone is. Kelsey, who handles the billing, has in particular gone above and beyond normal customer service when dealing with my transition to COBRA.
The office is clean and efficient, there's ample parking and it's conveniently located near the North McCarran freeway exit. Plus, they're open until 6 for shots.
I honestly can't think of anything negative to say.
Fantastic food, great customer service and vegan-friendly!
This is a high-end place and you can tell by the quality of the food and the way they treat their customers.
Let me start with the falafel. It's obviously made from scratch, not from the same store-bought dry mix every other place uses. And the pitas are freshly griddled. If you're in Reno-Sparks and you want falafel, this is definitely the place to go.
I've ordered the salad a couple of times now. The ingredients are incredibly fresh - not even a hint of a brown end on any of the pieces of lettuce - and I really like the preserved lemon dressing.
I'm a picky vegetarian. When I emailed the restaurant to ask about vegan and vegetarian options, they responded very helpfully. And from talking to one of the employees on the phone, I could tell she was very vegan-aware as well as being nice.
Oh, and when you order online (I use UberEats), there are tons of options to add/remove ingredients from a dish. Perfect for picky vegetarians!
I didn't ask about every menu item, only the ones I was immediately interested in, but here is a partial list:
-Potatoes without schmaltz: vegetarian
-Loukoumades: vegetarian
-Naked salad: vegan (if ordered without feta, I assume!)
-Hummus: vegan
-Toum: vegan
-Falafel souvlaki: vegetarian (I believe this is vegan if ordered without the feta and tzatziki)
(I didn't explicitly ask about the pita, falafel and harissa, but I believe they are all vegan. Also, I forgot to ask whether the loukoumades were made with sour cream, which could have gelatin in it.)
This is a casual, cheerful restaurant situated a little ways back from the street, next to the golf course. Service was friendly, attentive and prompt. The food was great and much better than the Mediterranean options we have in Reno.
I ordered the falafel plate, which consisted of several small falafel balls with a drizzle of tahini sauce; turmeric rice; choice of salad (I picked tabouleh); hummus and pita wedges.
The falafel was pretty good, and (thank goodness) didn't taste like it was from a store-bought mix. The rice was suprisingly flavorful. The tabouleh was good - very fresh. The hummus was a standout for me, with lots of lemon and garlic in it. Everything went well together and I was a very happy, satisfied diner.
My friend got the falafel wrap, commented on its large size, ate the whole thing and said she would definitely order it again.
On a whim, I also ordered the Greek fries without feta. Wow. These were some thick fries, perfectly cooked, liberally flavored with lemon, garlic and dill.
My only regret is that this restaurant is not in Reno so I could order their food regularly.
Pretty good!
I made a build-your-own salad (romaine, avocado, chickpeas, tomatoes, red onions, carrots, sunflower seeds, lemon vinaigrette). It was surprisingly huge and filling. The ingredients were all fresh - including the avocado. Everything was chopped into fairly small pieces, which I appreciated; I didn't have to negotiate any huge pieces of lettuce or wedges of tomato. The romaine seemed to be mostly the green parts rather than white rib pieces, and I liked that, too.
The only thing I'd have changed was the lemon vinaigrette. It tasted fine, but pretty artificial - like bottled dressing. I noticed they have oil and vinegar as a dressing option, so I'll try that next time; maybe it will have less of a bottled quality. I will say that the amount of dressing they supplied (I asked for it on the side) was just right for the size of the salad.
On the side I had a pretzel, which was soft, warm and salted just right.
I did think this was a little on the pricey side; the salad, pretzel and a bottle of Pepsi cost about $15. Then again, the salad really was large, fresh and tasty.
Service was prompt and friendly.
I love that their menu clearly marks which items and ingredients are vegan. The vegan options are abundant! The menu also provides the calorie count of every salad component, which would be very helpful for anyone on a diet.
I'll definitely eat there again the next time I'm on that side of town.

GC,
Thanks for your business and positive, thorough review!
We have 19 other dressings to try if the Lemon Vinaigrette didn't fit your tastes. Our Balsamic is very good and the default dressing on a couple of our Menu Chops.
As for the price, if you find a better deal in town for a similar chopped salad meal I'd like to know where? Fresh salad ingredients are not inexpensive and we have a lot of labor involved for our chop prep. Additionally our serving speed averages about 4 minutes from "order-to-fill", which is hard to match, and one of the reasons we are the only "made-to-order" Drive-Thru salad restaurant in Nevada.
We most certainly look forward to your next visit to The Chop Stop!!
Thanks,
Steve (owner)
I had a fantastic experience here. I came in because one of my toenails was falling off. Both Dr. Hockenberry and the man who checked me in (whose name I unfortunately didn't catch) were so kind and non-judgmental, and treated me like a human being. After taking care of the toenail, Dr. Hockenberry also took the time to ask about another foot condition I have, and made some helpful suggestions. I wish all medical professionals were like these two.
