I wanted to pick up sailing and I did a bit of research before choosing a school. One15 Brooklyn seemed like a good option because the boats were newer than the surrounding sailing schools. I'm glad I went with this choice! I took the Fundamentals of Sailing class over a two-day weekend and had a blast. Went from 0 experience in sailing to getting my US sailing keelboat certification. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, definitely would recommend.

Came in for a quick bite to eat, the banh mi sandwiches here are really good and cheap. Ordered the combination sandwich and looking forward to trying the other ones. The drinks were also really tasty. Really liked the decor here, lots of open space and they even had boardgames you could play.

I absolutely love the New York Guitar Academy! I was a student at the nearby NYC Guitar School for over a year and I didn't make as much progress (or have as much fun) as I have in the first 4 weeks here.

The classes are fun and challenging and Jason is able to give you individual attention in each class. He's already broken some of my bad habits such as poor wrist position and posture.

I really look forward to every class and am really motivated to practice everyday because the songs are actually fun to learn. Not to mention, you start learning complete songs on day one. If you're thinking of learning classical or Spanish (flamenco) style guitar, this is the place to go.
