Zulu's must be closed because there is business at the address given. Construction may have doomed them.

Wow some great gelato. This place has been winning awards for the quality and flavours of both water and dairy gelato.
I chose to have (OMG) Chocolate and Turkish Delight (silver medal winning) and, OH YES, it's worth the award. Sorry I was too busy eating it to take a photo....
This is a great place to recover if you've just jumped off the Sky Tower...Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kathy L.Auckland, New Zealand6993371Nov 26, 2014First to Review
A gelato store with so many interesting flavours on offer to suit anyone. Twenty + freshly-made for selection in two big fridges- in both gelato as well as sorbet form. It's great because there aren't any preservatives and makes for a slightly less guilty treat with their use of natural colours and pure fruit. A daily special for a slightly discounted choice on a particular flavour on a whiteboard outside. There's a small table available outside on the street, as well as street-facing bench and some more seats on the side indoors.
Got a double scoop of their award winning chocolate with their also award-taking rum & raisin. A nice wall behind the counter of framed wins- a great way to narrow down your pick of scoop as there really are too many. Thought they were nice- not anything spectacular however. The rum & raisin is quite alcohol-heavy- so a word of warning, was quite surprised.
Interested to try some of their other more exotic flavours like Pistachio, Mojito and Pina Colada, or for an unusual fruity tone- Cherry or Green Apple as well as those sweet-tooth satisfying Caffee Moka and Mascarpone, for next time.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
