I came here to get my leather coat dry cleaned and a new zipper on my jeans.

The lady that rung me up had no clue how to price things. Instead of asking she began guessing. She said that it would be $17 to put a zipper on my pants. I immediately frowned and shares that that sounded fictitious. Another lady came and said no, it's $13. The two staff members started going back and forth with each other so I ended up just walking out. Very much a waste of my time.

The Zips in Columbia on Little Patuxent is way better. Go to that franchise instead.

LOST CLOTHES!!!l Lack of accountability on behalf of the manager on duty. If a customer has a repeat complaint, like lost clothes and you are on duty, it is poor form to send your subordinates to relay a message that you are to busy for a face to face with that customer.
As such, after 4 weeks of attempting to locate the said item, it was clear the item is lost.
Avoidance ... deferring not a good strategy. Facing up to the issue would inevitably lead to a better resolution.
I will be writing a letter to corporate.

I dropped off 10 garments on Saturday, December 29th 2018 and was told they would all be ready on Monday, December 31st. Upon arriving on Monday December 31st, only 5 of my 10 garments were ready. Of the 5 that were ready 3, were a mess. One dress had deodorant marks (was it even cleaned?), One dark red dress had stains all over it, and one white dress was orange. I brought the garments back to zips and they said they would try again. I come back and the deodorant marks are done and the red dress is fixed. However the white dress is still orange.

Now I should note, the story does not end here. The people serving me placed notes in my account to indicate the discoloration of the dress. These notes are not there when I brought the dress in. I have copies of everything, including the notes.

Then the lady at zips started laughing saying "She doesn't know and if they try harder cleaners it may get damaged. I told her I don't want her to do that and she kept laughing which was very upsetting. She said maybe it got put in the LAUNDRY with colored things. I paid for dry cleaning not laundry. Then she said she will try to fix it so I left my dress with her.

I came back (for the FOURTH TIME) and the dress isn't as orange (now its kind of beige) but it has dark orange spots all over it...

      THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE

I tried , but you just can't get good cleaning ... No matter how identifiable the stain is , it's never cleaned (and if taken elsewhere would be)
The tailor is hardly there at the posted hours.
      My belt was lost..
And the reason I have all these complaints is that I have tried them several times hoping it gets better.
One a good note.. the employees are very nice

You pay for what you get-cheap "dry cleaning" that doesn't get the job done! I most likely won't return. My white blazer was the true test and they failed (see pics). Will find a better, more expensive option, in the future in the hopes that I will get my clothes actually clean.

      Even with pre-treatment?!?
Ring-around-the-collar and discoloration on the edges...did they even clean??

Just picked up my two comforters from this location. I must say I am extremely disappointed. Upon putting them on my bed my husband and I were met with a strong odor on the comforter. A strong bad odor which smelled like rotten feet/cheese. I open the other comforter and it had that strong odor as well. I will never use this location again as my comforters reeked it odor and I wast money getting them dry clean. Now I have to spend additional money to take them to the Laundry mat to clean them myself due to the disgusting unclean smell.

I wish I had read the reviews first! But this place was close to home and I was strapped for time. I dropped off a dress for cleaning on a Tuesday (was to be ready Wednesday after 5 pm). Now it's Saturday and I take time off work to go pick it up, to wear tomorrow to MY SISTER's FUNERAL.

The clerk scans my ticket and comes back with my dress on a hanger but not in a plastic bag. She casually says "They didn't clean it." I say what do you mean, they didn't clean it? The response was "They were worried about the color running". (It's a black dress with a black and white bodice. The label indicated "DRY CLEAN ONLY".)

I request my money back.....the clerk had the nerve to ask if I wanted a store credit!! Heck no, I'm never coming back here!

Don't come here if you actually WANT your clothes to be cleaned because apparently they decide after you leave them if they will do it. Heck, the least they could have done was call me 4 days ago.

This doesn't just go for this zips but for the one in Annapolis too...Um they suck. It's really not worth the 2 dollars you save if your clothes aren't going to be cleaned properly. I took my clothes to the one in Annapolis and they didn't clean my clothes properly. The same thing in Elkridge. Except for in addition to the stain that is still on my pants, my shirts aren't pressed very well, there are wrinkles at the bottom of. It's true that you get what you pay for. I wouldn't even take my clothes there if I needed them back in a hurry. It's sage to say that I will not be going back to any more zips, I'm sure I won't be missed with the droves of other people taking their clothes in to only get them back dirty....but I can now say I've tried two and it's the same thing.

Here is the proof, clothes still dirty

LETS SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN! LET'S HELP EACH OTHER!

If I could give them a negative rating, I would... they lost our clothes, at first, and then they "found them" said that it was damaged (along with another shirt that was ripped and totally damaged.) Sent it to a lab and the bias lab (that works with dry cleaners and not a real analysis lab) comes back stating the same results for both items. How does a perfectly intact and brand new shirt and pants all of a sudden become damaged after they dry cleaned it? The lab said it was not the type of damage that was under the control of the cleaner. I call BS! I filed two BBB complaints against them, I want to file a class action lawsuit.

With my first encounter with the manager and other employees, they were rude, made racist comments in Spanish (thought I didn't understand) and then LIED about what happened (blatantly) to the cops in front of us. They have the audacity to lie about a situation when I had three other witnesses there who saw what had happened.

I took in a solid tan suede jacket for a simple dry clean. What I got back was horrible. The overall color is much lighter than the original and it has stripes that are much darker than the original color. When I pointed it out to the clerk that helped me, she didn't seem the least bit concerned. She handed me a form to fill out. And, when I asked what happens now, she tells me that the manager is out for two weeks, but will call me. "Okay, bye" she says.

      Ruined my jacket!
