Yamahana Sushi

I've eaten at plenty of very expensive Japanese places. This isn't one of them, it's very reasonably priced. It's also very good, and it's fresh as you can get in the middle of the desert.

I've eaten here at least a dozen time, mostly take-out but also sit-down dinners. The ramen is very satisfying and the sushi/sashimi, while not featuring anything exotic, is solid.

If you want sushi in the area, there aren't many options, but Yamahana is a good choice.

P.S. It's really heartening to see the Japanese chef tutoring the young local gringo about his cuisine. I watched them surreptitiously while waiting for my food and I saw a classic mentor/student vignette and a meeting of two worlds. Heart-warming; these are nice people.

It's not the best but good enough for this area. Ramen was not scalding hot but the chasu pork has weird texture. The eggs on the ramen seems to come straight from the fridge. Sushi are not fresh even the simple California roll does not taste good at all. The soy sauce seems to be refilled and diluted. Service was excellent and atmosphere was okay. We saw some bug crawling on the floor. Hence, I don't think we will be back.

Came here as we were craving sushi. Definitely fulfilled our cravings but nothing too impressive. Ordered a bento box and crunch roll. Service was very kind and attentive.

Funny how some of the bad reviews are the same people, ( profile pics) yet diffrent names. I noticed this a few times. Whats up with that?

We were happy with our poke bowls from here. Called in the order, and it was ready when we got there. I'll definitely be back.

Best sushi in town! I come here a few times a month and they never disappoint. Everything is fresh and delicious

I got food to go. The sitting area looked inviting. The lady who assisted me was nice. However, the food was mediocre. The fish did not taste very fresh. It was okay for a quick bite but, personally I will not return due to the lack of quality and taste.

We walked in and ordered food to go tonight. Our sushi rolls and egg rolls were ready in no time. The service was prompt and friendly. The tables were clean. And the best part, our food was so dang good!!! I recommend this restaurant and would definitely return if I'm back in the area. Very convenient to guests staying at the Fairfield right across the street.

the curry was average, not the best but not the worst. The service was a bit faster than a normal restaurant

My faughter has tried the ramen and loves them so far, I have had the ie rolls which were also good
