Yabo's Tacos - Hilliard

Yabos closed their Powell location so we visited the Hilliard location today.

I started with chops and salsa. The corn chips are lightly salted, crunchy and so good. Salsa served in a small container - it's never enough and so good. Thin but favorable! Sadly, no refills.

Hubs loved the grilled chicken Bodacious Burrito served "wet" with Ranchero, pico, lettuce, and sour cream. He has found a new favorite @ Yabos!

I really enjoy their Taco Salad. I order it without the tortilla shell. The salad comes with a generous scoop of Guacamole, pico, cheese, sour cream and choice of protein. I ordered the steak.

On the table, you'll find bottles of Yaboo sauces. I'm a bit of a wimp avoiding all good items named Habanero,or Sereno. But I love the Lip Smacking Chipotle sauce! I shake some of the Chipotle sauce on the Taco Salad and are happy as can be!

Service was great! We sat at the bar, chatting with the bartender.

The restaurant was clean with one wall of windows and patio we love to enjoy in the summer! There are at least 5 large TV's, a full bar and a menu of inventive tacos.

We highly recommend Yabos Tacos!

First time at Yabo's and it was good. Server was very friendly and made sure we always checking on us. The chimichanga was good and crispy and the chorizo was great! If you get a margarita make sure it's on the rocks, frozen wasn't very boozy.

I'm not a Yabo's fan (tried other locations) but I was hungry and thought I'd give them a shot. I ordered delivery via Uber Eats. They're only 5 minutes away so I felt the food would be fresh and hot.

It was just bad. Now I feel confident I tried and won't do that again.

The goods: chimi bites (chicken), sweet potato waffle fries, white bean/chicken chili, and Baja rice with corn. In that order: just ok/slightly burned, not crispy, salty, salty/just bad.

I'll stick with LC.

I went with a friend and my sister and we received subpar service. Yes, everyone was nice but the food was bland, not hot, you get charged for chips and salsa. My friends meal was given the wrong meal and that had to be sent back. It was a mess. Idk if it was just a bad night or what but I'll
Give it one more shot and then it's a no for me. I spent 68 bucks on food for 4 and was super pissed as we left needing something else to eat.

Great food and service. The variety of tacos was awesome. Philly cheesesteak taco was unique and tasted great.

Went here today for the first time. Queso comes in a foam container, you have to pay for chips, and service is bad. I got the incorrect salad which was quickly replaced with a MUCH smaller correct one. The correct one had a few pieces of wet lettuce and barely any toppings. I honestly wish I would've kept the incorrect one !!! They put it in a tortilla bowl, then inside what looked like a plastic kiddy toy red food basket. The tortilla of course fell apart because it was crunchy and all the meat cheese etc fell onto the nasty basket. Maybe put your salads on a plate or a bowl? Not in a basket with one inch wide holes?? Not a good experience because the server was new, (according to the other man who kept watching my table and hovering) and had no idea what was going on. I've been new at jobs but at least had coaching or supervision.. Will not be back. $20 wasted.

Omg-the food here is amazing. I ordered delivery and everything was just as we ordered it. Love their nachos-and a small is PLENTY for a meal or the share as an app.

Have been here several timesand have never been disappointed. The tacos are to die for...do a different combo each time just to try them all. The service is super friendly, and tolerant of our young grandsons birthday celebrating. Great kids menu and the marguerites are fabulous. Need to go back soon. Food is very fresh!

We tried this place just a few days ago. It is right next to a Rita's and is a small but really cute restaurant. Our waitress was super friendly and their food had great prices. It was $5 for a kids meal and most tacos were between $4-5 a piece and were loaded with delicious, fresh ingredients. My kids tried the macaroni and cheese and the chicken nuggets/tenders. They both loved it! We tried their trio of queso, salsa and guacamole as an appetizer. Their queso had a very nice, light flavor. It was not spicy at all (which was good for the kids since they do not like spicy). The guacamole was thick and fresh. It was also not spicy but had very good but light flavors. The salsa did have a little bit of spice, we loved all three in the trio and would definitely order it again. I tried the "Make your own taco", which included chicken and the "Baja" style ingredients which were feta cheese, lettuce, cilantro and pico de Gallo. My husband also tried a few different tacos too. We both loved it! There is also a wide variety of sauces (some you do have to ask for and some are already in bottles at the table). Overall, we would definitely go back to this place. We thought the prices were good and the food was great!

Every time I eat at Yabos I really am impressed with the quality of food. It's just so good.
