My friend and I had an excellent experience here! The servers were friendly, courteous, and accommodating. The restaurant was beautifully lit and included some nice decor. The food and drinks were also excellent, and the turnaround time was quick. Plentiful options for sushi or stir fry. We went with the stir fry! I ordered the sweet and spicy steak and a dirty martini. The steak itself was delicious, well seasoned, and crispy. My friend enjoyed her kung pao steak and apple martini. One specific server, a gentleman, was very kind, funny, and charismatic. He told us jokes periodically throughout the evening. I can't wait for our next dinner here! It was truly a great night out! I would recommend it.

Can't say I'd recommend coming here, we just happened to have some gift cards we needed to use up; we ordered 3 rolls and an appetizer for 2 of us, and it came out to about $62.
We ordered:
- Chicken Lettuce Wraps (4/5): This was $15, and the lettuce was wilted for a few layers on the outside. The fried crisps were also kind of stale, but this dish was better than the sushi.
- Sushi (2/5): The rice was suuuper mushy and gluey. They were also a bit weird like the salmon avocado was just avocado on the inside, with 1 layer of salmon on top. They all in general were pretty small, and the scorpion roll was a whopping $19 for a lot of rice and sauce.
The service was fine, and the general manager was courteous! The place was pretty empty for lunchtime on a Friday.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ron S.Downers Grove, IL042Jun 8, 2023
Horrible!!! My daughters went for dinner and the stickers were still on there vegetables in the soup. There Manager Ken didn't think it was big deal and took advantage of a 16 and 11 year old. After I called him
When they got home he said he handled it fine and it's not a big deal. What a Joke! Not only is the food quality horrible but the manager is a disgrace and takes advantage of young girls.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1Business owner information

C'mon Ron. You are being ridiculous. First, the label is edible and no harm. Would I like to see the label, of course not, but, C'mon. Ken asked them if everything was ok and your daughter said everything was ok. So are you saying we should not believe them and we should not allow 11 -16 year olds in our restaurant because they are stupid? I cannot believe you are going to accuse my manager of taking advantage of your 11 & 16 year old daughters because my manager did not discount any $
for a perfectly good meal that they ate, because one sliver of a red pepper had a edible label on it??
Then gives us a 1 star and say it was horrible. Nice father figure you are teaching our youth to scam to get things for free. Please have your kids go to Mcdonalds from now on and not to an adult

Ambiance was awesome. Loved the building. Sadly the food had zero taste. Honestly it tasted like microwave stir fry Decent service Sushi roll
Had no taste. Drink was good. Would not recommend other than the location to where we were located. Disappointing.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 30, 2022
This was not a great meal. Service wasn't bad but food was not good. Save your money and go order some Chinese take out from a mom and pop shop to get better food
The lettuce wrap had an odd smell, the dip was extremely thick and sweet which was the same sauce used for the yakitori. Definitely one of the worse meals I've had, the lettuce wrap should be avoided.
The sushi wasn't bad, was it great - no, but it wasn't awful. The beef yakitori was fine, sauce was so strong tasting , takes it away from the beef.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Karen P.Burr Ridge, IL141564Jun 15, 2023
I ordered delivery and ordered pad thai with chicken, no egg. Although close to my house, I have been unable to drive.
UberEats was great with delivery. The dish was very hot. However, so oversauced it was inedible. I tried to drain all the liquid.
Extremely sweet. Sorry, this was my first time eating here. I do not think I will return. It was $30 with taxes, service charge and tip. I'm learning my lesson.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 12, 2022
Get some pretty good Asian fusion. It unfortunately happens to also be pretty expensive Asian fusion, damn it. Wok N Fire is a pretty popular place with a couple of locations, this one in Burr Ridge. Could be busy or pretty slow depending on when one goes. The better times are at happy hour so you can save.
Came here for a meeting and eating. It was very nice that I didn't have to pay all of it. This was especially good for this. Hell of expensive. That was only for just an entree. Forget cocktails. The food is good but not that good though. Has mostly Asian fusion. I had the Kung Pao Tofu. This is stir fried in a wok. It's $17 for crying out loud. This has bean sprouts, carrots, chili peppers, peanuts, red peppers, scallions, and water chestnuts in a spicy brown garlic sauce. It comes with a choice of lo mein or rice. There's a lot in it but not that much of it as in the portion is pretty small. At least compared to the cost. This sadly is typical of most menu prices.
Best to come at the happy hour. It's a little cheaper but not much. There's a few cheaper cocktails and appetizers but not that much saving.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Mark B.La Mesa, CA031Jul 15, 2023
Experience was fantastic. In town for business and wanted a local establishment. Wok n Fire was great choice. Both the entree and appetizer were exceptional. Service was timely and not rushed. The GM stopped and we talked about the restaurants for a while.
Anytime you are in the Burr Ridge area of Chicago stop by and enjoy a great time.
Crispy Lar Nar Noodles and Maki Rolls were my selections. Exceptional is how I would describe both.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Edward T.Manchester, MO11Feb 8, 2024
Was a cool area. Close to hotel that we were staying at and had decent service. The food was horrible litterly tasted like uncooked microwave asian food. Would never go back. Never recommend. Not to mention it was 150 bucks for way below average food. I couldve bought this exact meal for $4.50 at walmart and heated it up in my microwave and it wouldve tasted somewhat better.

Went to Wok N Fire Burr Ridge for the very first time since the pandemic with my girlfriends whom I haven't seen in 2 years. We were all very excited. But unfortunately...it was a super busy night and maybe understaffed....so we didn't get to eat anything. We were there from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and we only had a chance to order our dirty martinis and Las Vegas roll with pan seared dumplings. That's all I get to eat. 2 pieces of Las Vegas roll and 1 dumpling. I was starving so after 2 hours and still no sign of our waiter....again....I understand the short staffed issue but I will not go back again and would not recommend. With 6 dirty martinis and 1 roll of Las Vegas and 1 order of dumplings...it was $125.....and we had to go somewhere else for dinner......it was not the best experience and not friendly on our wallet. Very disappointed.
Update: Owner asked me to email them which I did and never heard back from them. Therefore, I took another star off so now it is only worth 1 star. I tell everyone this story and we all get a good laugh out of this experience. Oh well. Good bye Wok n Fire foreverHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Sep 28, 2021Previous reviewWent to Wok N Fire Burr Ridge for the very first time since the pandemic with some girls I haven't seen in 2 years.
