They have Avery cheap flight specials. But one time my flight on Wizzair from London to Sibiu canceled just a few hours before departure. They rebooked me on a flight the next day. Going to another city in Romania. Despite following their guidelines to the letter, they did not refund me for the cost of the hotel I had to stay in in London, or the train from the new Romania city (Cluj) to Sibiu. So it ended up costing a lot more for the flight. You get what you pay for.

Wizz lacks in all areas I expect my airline to be competent in. Such as, basic communication, customer service, (a working plane) etc. Our flight has been delayed beginning at 3pm today. It is now 5:30pm. The only somewhat useful information that we have been communicated to us came from our pilot the first time we boarded the plane. No updates have been communicated to us, and no staff member is in sight or has been in sight for hours. We just received an update displayed on our gate screen (which has not proved to be reliable) saying our plane is now "expected" (whatever that means) for 20:00. Again, there has been no actual communication with us at this point. In situations like these (which happen quite a lot, and are hard to avoid) we as passengers and travelers understand that things happen, all we ask is that we are kept in the loop. This situation would have been infinitely less aggravating with good communication. This is my first round trip flight with Wizz Air, and Wizz, I will NEVER fly with you again.
Additionally, For an airline that nickels and dimes every step of the way I would at least expect CLEAN and functioning/acceptable airplanes. The plane we rode to Germany from Belgrade was dirty (pieces of food still on my seat) and no free water or beverage options. Our second plane was also dirty when we boarded the first time (note, we have boarded this plane twice... and exited twice, only once with communication (from the pilot) why we were exiting/delayed. This airline disgusts me in every aspect of its operation, I'm surprised it is not only in business but still allowed to be in business...
Please note, this review does come from a place of in experience.. I have flown thousands of times in my life.. it comes from a place of genuine concern and disappointment.

There was no option for me to check in online after registering on Wizz.com. I was then sent to 4 different lines when I arrived for check in (because no one knew where to send me even though they were Wizz check in reps ??????) . Then they charged me 50 for not checking in online. It was absolute chaos, the workers were very unsympathetic, poorly trained, and rude. Many people were shouting and even crying out of sheer frustration, disappointment, and stress. It was a horrible experience, just pay the extra money and book with a different airline

My husband and I tried to check in online but couldn't because "there was a disruption of the flight and online booking is not available." The disruption was the flight was going to depart 5 minutes early! Once at the airport, the gate attendant said they had to charge us the $70 Euro (2 passengers) which included a 10 Euro airport tax and we would have to write to the airline for a refund. For six months I have sent four emails to the airline for a refund request and have NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE!!! It is a joke of an airline and I highly recommend that you pay more and travel with another airline.
