Wild Wing Cafe

Absolutely terrible service.
Bought two family platters of wings and asked for extra sauce. I did it online and left a note. I even called when they opened to ask for extra sauce.
We waited inside for 20-30 minutes for our order which should have been ready by 11:30 and didn't even get out of the building until after 11:50.
When we get home we realize that my wings have not even a drop of sauce nor did I receive my potato soup.
I call the manager and he started ARGUING with me - saying he knows the employees here and there was no possible way that it took that long, that he knows the employees "personally."
I ask for a refund and he said that it's not possible for me to get a refund unless I return in person for it.

We sat ourselves, guess that's a no-no, based on how the server reacted when she came to the table.

We asked for menus, waited another five minutes. She said she can take our drink orders in a way that was like she's not taking our food order, but we told her we were ready. I asked if she's just getting drinks or our food order as well, she says, I can go ahead and get your order.

At this time of night, they only offer wings and fries, however, we saw burgers being served.

Two ketchup bottles on table were clearly empty.

The menus were dirty, sticky. Guess we're not cleaning between customers.

Another 30 min, had the wings. Oh my, don't order Smoky Bandit unless you enjoy burnt food.

Another 10 min she brought the fries...

The fries and blue cheese dressing, for dipping, was the best part of the meal, oh and the water with lemon.

Not impressed. Small wings, for a wing place. Won't visit another of this chain. Only hit this one because it was late after a concert and was open.

Their ranch and blue cheese were better than most.

This Wild Wing location has gone completely to the dogs. We called in a to go order and went inside to pick it up. The order was wrong, no worries we sat at the bar and ordered house chips to snack on while we waited. The new to go order came before the house chips even arrived, so we asked for the chips to go. They just dumped the chips, sauce and blue cheese crumbles in one small box and brought it out. When the to go check was double the correct charge, we had to wait for the manager to come correct it. When I asked the bar manager who exactly we were waiting for, she was so rude.

Bottom line: while we wondered at first how a downtown restaurant could be empty on a Sat evening, we came to realize why. Would not recommend this restaurant for eat in or to go. Sad to see a Spartanburg classic go this way.

I have not eaten at Wild Wing Cafe for a couple of years due to covid . We were having friends over to watch a ballgame and placed an order for wings for pick up. When we opened the box at home I was totally embarrassed that any business would send this out of their kitchen and horrified my guest thought I would feed them this . The entire contents of wings were burned. I don't mean dried out, over cooked- i mean char black burned! There was 1 wing not charred but was so dried out and hard. Short story - disgusting, embarrassing, not fit for human consumption. Majorly disappointed in a restaurant we enjoyed for years. No more.

We used to go every few weeks. Last night was a train wreck!! Tea...we don't have any. Kids hotdog...we don't have any.We have chicken nuggets. Our server brings everything except our 2 year old's nuggets. We have to reorder.
Our wings had barely any sauce. Our kid's nuggets turned out to be wings without any sauce. Our server waits, "oh we didn't have any nuggets." My salad is brought without the ordered 1000 Island dressing. "Oh we don't have any." My husband's beer (& many others that pass our table) are almost clear. I understand that our server is most likely not responsible for the ordering, but she is responsible for letting her customers know what they are getting. Terrible food & terrible service! Save your money & go somewhere else.

My friend and I came to wild wing Café for the all you can eat endless wings. The service was good, our waitress, Natalie, kept checking in on us and the wings were fabulous. We had habanero hots new Braveheart gold rush red hot and blue and wild west.
We kept eating and the wings kept coming.

This visit was during the Covid-19 pandemic. They observed lower capacity and the staff is wearing masks.
We had a very enjoyable experience and left with very full tummies.

Disgusting serving of what was supposed to be 30 wings.. didn't realize we had to slice the chicken ourselves to eat. Wings were black inside and waitress/ bar owner was beyond rude as we paid our $55 wing bill and didn't touch the food. We told her how bad the wings were and she looked at us and said "here's your bill"
Horrible service! Don't go unless you want to waste your money and leave hungry.

If I could give less than one star I would! For one I passed 3 workers no one greeted or directed me they were all on their phones super unconcerned.
I ordered online and was told my order wasn't ready which I was even late to pick it up and then was told someone already picked it up just for it to be sitting on the counter the entire time this whole back and forth process went on over 30 minutes my wings are cold at this point and my fries were forgotten.
Literally a terrible experience I hate I paid in advance. After all that the wings were undercooked and just not right TERRIBLE from the hostess to the cooks I would NOT recommend!!

I don't normally like to post a bad review but....the food was not good. The wings were so bland. They were so dry. It was like they cooked them and just poured a little sauce on them...and the sauce sucked. Even the French fries were bad.

I don't know what is going on there but I was so disappointed. I used to love their wings and their fun atmosphere.

Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Everything was clean. We might give them another chance.

I'm going to try an make it a short read. My table was sticky to start. I ordered hot spinach dip as right away. She came back then I tried to order 10 wings. I asked for my 2 favs honey mustard an garlic they didn't have them flavors. Ok lemon pepper, out, Italian out, 2 more flavors out. At this point I thought she was joking. Ended up with 2 flavors I didn't want. She told me something about a deal for 10 & 20 wings, I told her I want 10. Maybe 12 mins later my dip came out with homemade potato chips that was soggy. 2 mins later my wings came out which was 20 wings and not good. I think I ate 7 wings an 25% of the soggy chips an dip, togo box? No thank you. Asheville Wild Wing is way better than this place. Need a new manager ASAP.
