Homemade family recipes served in casual elegance. A four-tier fountain, paned windows, striped awnings and massive stone columns create an Italian piazza. Enjoy espresso, wine or beer at the antique hammered brass bar. The unique Giant Raviolis are hand rolled and the sauces are simmered to bring out the flavors for which Italian food is renown. Dinners are sautéed to order by chef/owner David. Rather than sacrifice quality for convenience, food is presented in the tradition of fine Italian Cuisine: A meal to be savored, a moment to be remembered, an experience to delight the senses. Come and Enjoy!…

My wife and I go in for a late lunch and decide to split the four ravioli plate. The waiter says nothing about a split charge. He charges us seven dollars for the split and a dollar too much for a glass of wine. I'll never go there again.

I actually really like this place. They have great food. I do recommend their greens for a side dish they are so flavorful & delicious!
I also recommend the eggplant parmesan. I was never really a fan until I tried it here & now I love it.
I am always excited to come to this restaurant because it always meets my standards. The staff is nice & friendly too!

Husband and I ate lunch here on Memorial Day holiday. It was our first visit. I love Italian and have wanted to try this place for a long time. We were the first customers of the day.

The décor is nice, waiter was professional, all was going well until the next customers came to eat. Out of the whole empty (except for us) dining room, the waiter seated them next to us! Come on! Really??? Why do restaurants do this? We could hear EVERY word of their conversation and I'm sure they could hear ours.

I thought the waiter was joking when he asked which sauce I wanted on my ravioli (singular, not plural) He was not kidding, I got ONE sort-of large cheese ravioli. It also came with fettuccine.

Bread was good, dinner salad was good, waiter kept our ice teas refilled.

My biggest complaint was the seating of the customers right next to us when they could have been seated at least 2 tables away. Unless a restaurant is busy, there is no reason to seat everyone so close.

Mi non piache! I walked out without ordering. After waiting for water/order for a long 5 minutes, the Waiter next to me delivering food, could not even say HI, I will be right with you! I saw the tiny salads that come with the meal and saw this as the moment to scoot. Most meals at lunch time are 9.99-11.99 on up.
Oh yes, I have been all over Italy and this did not bring back memories of Bellagio!

I hate Galt! Yet I make the trip through the agricultural armpit of California like a pilgrimage to a holy site for this one restaurant. And deservedly so.

Wholey Ravioli stands out like a diamond in the rough amid a town that seemingly forgot it has one of the best Italian restaurants you'll find outside of Italy.

I look at the negative reviews on here and shake my head in sadness at the ignorant people out there that take this gem for granted.

Please excuse me if I seem somewhat upset, but it's just that I've been going to Wholey Ravioli for many years and I am tired of seeing this place go unrecognized.

If this restaurant was anywhere else I'm sure it would be packed every night and the reviewers (clientele with sophisticated palates) would be giving this place 5 stars.

The food here is made fresh everyday and all meals are cooked to order so if you have to wait for your meal it's because it is not coming out of a frozen bag or heated in the microwave.

The raviolis are hand-made, over-stuffed, and huge! The chicken or eggplant parmigiana are also among my favorites. Try the alfredo or pesto sauce on anything, you'll love it.

Try not to fill up on the delicious bread that is freshly baked each day, because the dinners are four courses! FOUR COURSES! Who does that anymore? No one can complain about the prices when your meal comes with all you can eat bread, soup, salad, and dessert!

All in all, Wholey Ravioli is much overlooked due to its location and unappreciative patrons but not for a lack of delicious food.

We really enjoy this family owned restaurant! Most of the time I get our order to go--family style pasta, salad and bread. Occasionally we dine in and have tried other items such as the chicken parm. When you dine in your meal comes with bread, soup AND salad which is really yummy. Then by the time my food comes I am pretty full so bonus you usually go home with leftovers/lunch for tomorrow:) I have also used them for a bridal shower where I ordered food for about 60 people and the pricing was great to feed such a large crowd. The owner helped me to figure out how much to order of everything and everyone commented on how good the food was!

Very good Italian food! The service is also good, and the staff is pretty knowledgeable. Have only been here twice but both visits were awesome and we'll be back again.

Came here with my husband on an impulse looking for a Friday night dinner. The menu options and mission statement really tell the story of the passion this family puts into their food and atmosphere. We had chicken and steak charbroiled dinners with pasta. Comes with bread, soup (minestrone is heavenly) and salad! The service and food are incredible!!. Really cute Italian themed decor. Didn't hurt that Frank Sinatra songs played softly in the background. A real gem of a place tucked out of view off CA99 and C street. Turned out to be a romantic dinner out.

Best Italian food in Galt! Food was fresh and cooked to perfection. Ravioli couldn't have been better -- a must order. Minestrone soup was delicious! Ambience is like taking a trip down memory lane. Service was excellent.

Family owned restaurant. If you want good Italian food, this is the place to go! Portions are more than enough, and the taste is phenomenal! You will not go home disappointed. You can even get your favorite items to-go! Love this place!
