I like WFM and used to shop there semi-regularly. As with most all Whole Foods, this one is well organized, spotlessly clean, and vaguely wholesome. Service is good if brusque, though that's in part because they're normally quite busy.
Kudos to their fish, meat, and cheese counters, which are always well stocked and have knowledgeable people working them. I even got into a jovial discussion with the gent behind the meat counter on the kinds of fish sauce to use when seasoning beef!
I'm a little less impressed with the produce area (a little spotty on selection) and the fresh food area (the pizza is bland). Also, WFM can be pricey - the Whole Paycheck joke has a grain of truth behind it. However, you can buy strategically and also join Amazon Prime to take advantage of the 10% off sale items. Also, I have to credit WFM for consistently having good quality rarities like aged Parmesan, triple-cream Brie, and Alaskan halibut.
Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and want some gourmet groceries.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 967818031Jan 11, 2023
I love that there is sitting inside and outside. The store feels welcoming and light inside.
Like other WF, they have lovely fresh pastries and bakery items.
Customer service now receives Amazon returns. That was my purpose there; it was very easy. They are a well-oiled machine.
Parking can be a challenge. Traffic comes directly off the road, into the parking lot. Also people from the main shopping center drive in front of the store to the exit with the light. So be wary pulling in-and-out of your parking spot and walking to your vehicle!
Shout out to Robert: he was friendly and helpful in directing me to Customer Service. Showed no irritation that he had to stop what he was doing to assist me.
Because of the traffic and parking, I will not be returning here. It's simply too chaotic for me. But the store is wonderful. So please know this is an honest review.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Sep 28, 2021
I will never stop going to Whole Foods for their delicious veggie offerings. The veggie chef's plate is a pretty substantial meal for $9 (3 veggie sides) and all the ones I've tried have been fresh, delicious, and flavorful. My only reason for star deduction is that sometimes the brussel sprouts aren't 100% cooked all the way, so maybe cutting them in half would help with this? What do I know though, keep on keepin on Whole Foods.
Also, why doesn't this location have the vegan big john cookie??? Can't y'all get some from the Lamar location??? Pls.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - De'John L.Midlothian, VA013Mar 9, 2023
Public Service Announcement: All supermarkets please practice Food Safety, especially food separation. I've been vegan for 6 years and I fear today I've been exposed to pork which is not just a dietary issue but also a religious issue as well. This isn't to bash Whole Foods or make them lose any customers but to bring awareness to the public in hopes that something like this won't happen again. I will be in contact with corporate informing them of the incident that occurred earlier. I've posted photos of what my "mushroom asada" burrito had inside and I submit to anyone with dietary restrictions please double check your food to make sure you won't unsuspectingly consume something that could be harmful to you and your family. Once again not a bash, I don't hate WFM, but this is something that all business and consumers should look out for, God Bless.

This Whole Foods is much smaller than Lamar, and much easier to find what you need. We come here on Friday mornings to meet family and chat about our week. It's great to be able to grab some super-fresh raspberries, and a box of scones and sit on the lovely deck in front when it's warm and sunny out. And when we're done, I can return my Amazon package AND get some groceries for tonight's dinner.

Do you enjoy reliving the nostalgia of public school lunch food? Do you miss the fond memories of under seasoned or randomly over-salted items that are not hot despite you getting there right as the food is made available? Would you also like to express your gratitude for this fine dining cuisine by paying over $12 for a decent portion of it? Well boy do I have good news for you, this "hot" bar has that and more!

Grabbed a tofu scramble taco from the hot bar. This thing is really sad. The corn tortillas had zero structure, I couldn't have picked this thing up in any capacity, fell apart while unrolling the foil. So I decided to eat it with a spoon. The tofu is so dry, even with a salsa on it. Might as well have been a minced sponge with salsa. Under no circumstances would I recommend this thing. For 3.75$ I was taken for a ride, such a rip off.

I have been going to this Whole Foods for over a decade now and as many chances as I've given it to delight and/or disappoint me, something tonight has sent me astray. In the grand scheme of things, this may seem insignificant in comparison to all the mold, hair and outright nasty food I've brought home with me. Something about tonight stood out... And that is that there was absolutely nothing "good" or "old-fashioned" about their "Good Old-fashioned vegetable soup"
After feeling sick all week, a cozy Whole Foods soup at the end of my day was enough to cheer me up. Much to my dismay I found myself at the mercy of old rubber boats in a swamp of dirty dishwater. It was evident that the "soup" was not well traveled and simply hopped on the first train from "Can-to-serve".
Either get it together Whole Foods, or eat your own food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information
