Westlake Yacht Club

Not really sure what to say other than the view is truly beautiful and very relaxing. The clubhouse itself is closed when I visited and looks like open only on social Friday nights for members. However, the clubhouse is available for booking for special events.

I walked around the surrounding which is nicely kept with nice green grass and beautiful flowering plants. The views alone are worth seeing and enjoying even if the clubhouse is not open.

We had an event at the Westlake Yacht Club recently and are so happy we were able to reserve the venue. Stephanie was an absolute joy to Work with during the planning process and John and Gina were so kind and helpful the day of. The event went so smooth and we are so thankful for the team there for their help. The food was fantastic, the staff was efficient and helpful and the venue is just beautiful. Absolutely recommend this venue for any type of event.

Fantastic kids sailing program. Drop them off on Monday with zero experience and they are zipping around the lake solo by Wednesday. By Friday they are racing each other around the island. Definitely a highlight of the summer!

We had our Son's Bar Mitzvah party at the Westlake Yacht Club.

The entire process of planning and executing went as smoothly and as efficient as humanly possible due to the great care and attention we received from Ms. Stephanie Tanger!
It was an absolute pleasure working with her as the event coordinator and she definitely made it all easy and stress free.

The Club itself was recently remodeled with New bathrooms, renovated bar, and a fresh look for the entire room.
The view- what can I say... beautiful! especially when we had our Cocktails on the Deck outside during the Sunset.
The tablecloths were spotless and so was the Silver ware.
The entire room was ready for us and was so festive and inviting for our guests.

Service during the reception, dinner and party was perfect!
All servers were smiling and doing there best to make our guest happy.
Food was by BOCCACCIO'S restaurant and was absolutely amazing.
I had almost all my guests talking about the Fish and the Floureless Chocolate cake.

We enjoyed our entire event, and we highly recommend the venue.

Westlake Yacht Club is a Member owned Clubhouse at the Landing on the Lake in Westlake Village.It offers comprehensive sailing, racing and boating programs for adults and children.

The Clubhouse and Bar are open to members and guests on Friday evenings, on Sunday afternoons during the scheduled regattas, and for other parties, meetings and social events.

This is a great place to learn sailing without driving out to Ventura or Marina Del Rey.

I was here recently for a wedding reception. The view is quite beautiful and breathtaking around sunset. The wedding party actually came in on a boat which I thought was pretty rad.

Like Donna said in her review, the room is pretty small. She said 120, but I think there were about 100 people at mine and it felt just snug enough. The weather was gorgeous so we had our cocktail hour outside on their deck. A few tables were set out and then there were some standing tables towards the back.

From what I heard, it can be quite expensive to rent but if you know someone at the club it's cheaper. While the food was fantastic, they don't use one specific caterer, so I won't comment on that here. I think the bartenders we had worked at the yacht club since during the YMCA one of them took out a tambourine. Or maybe, the catering company has a bartender that does that... who knows.

We recently had an event at this place. While I am not a member, the event was booked by a member. The management changed details repeatedly during the planning process and left details out initially which increased the costs. The event went well inspite of the staff. The big thing is that we left some food in the refrigerator and had arranged to return the next day. When we got there, our food was being eaten by the members, including wedding cake. A large tray of cookies disappeared and all we got from them was, "you didn't mark it" REALLY!

Perfect location. Perfect ambiance. Perfect service. My wife and I had the pleasure to be there, enjoying out time together, dining at the most perfect scenery in So Cal. Thank you so very much!

I was recently a bridesmaid in a wedding that was held at the Westlake Yacht Club---it was gorgeous!

The bride planned the whole thing, and the location is truly picturesque. The ceremony was held outside on the deck, with the reception to follow inside. There was about 120 people, but I think any more than this would overwhelm this small, but well laid-out venue.

I can't speak for price(s), but I was told it "was not cheap".

I recommend this place to anyone looking for a possible wedding location in the spring and summer months in the Los Angeles area.

We just had our wedding bash at the Westlake Yacht Club and it was fantastic. The crew at the club were wonderful. Gene, the Banquet Manager was there overseeing everything, The bartender Greg phenominal...The kitchen facilities were very good and have everything you need. The lake views from the deck are breath taking....we had an electric boat from friends and were able to dock right in front of the club. It was like we had been there forever. I highly recommend any type of affair at the Westlake Yacht Club. Thank you so much
