I enjoyed living in this apartment building because it had so many perks with its location other than parking being shitty. Some of those perks for me were living within 400 meters from Kathy Osterman beach & the Lakefront path; having several diverse businesses within the neighborhood, plus having short access distance to CTA Bryn Mawr and CTA Thorndale.
As for the building itself it was very well maintained and has a cleaning lady that comes in daily to clean the inner most used areas, such as the lobby, laundry room, and the hallways. But now the apartments are a different story because requests go ignored from what I have heard from an old neighbor. However, I have not had many issues myself other than a mirror breaking in my apartment and management claimed that the mirror wasn't theirs, which was very annoying at the time. They claimed that a previous tenant put the mirror up, so that they wouldn't have to replace it. I was ticked off about the whole scenario thinking that they would charge me for it, but I have not heard nothing as of yet.
Once again, I enjoyed my time living in this apartment building mostly because of the perks I mentioned, however, Watertower Realty Management does raise the rent on a yearly basis, which is frustrating if you have no interest in moving every 12 months. I lived here for just short of 3 years and went from an initial monthly rent of $650.00 to ending at $825.00, which is why I moved in the first place because it wasn't worth it anymore especially for a studio apartment.
