When I was suddenly faced with having to divorce my husband I was very scared and as a new single parent I didn't not know what to expect or what to do. A friend told me about Warner Goodman and Streat so I gave them a ring and from then they absolutely took over everything for me. I was claiming legal aid and they talked through every process for me and dealt with everything. They were kind and compassionate and made me feel at ease. They kept me updated along the way and I can't fault them in any way shape or form. Fantastic!

We went on first impressions when choosing WG to handle the purchase of our first home, not the cheapest or most expensive and seemed professional and friendly...how wrong we were... as we all know buying a house is a stressful process but the Warner Goodman 'team' have taken any joy or excitement out of buying our first home, thank you.
Why will I be proactively telling people not to use this company? Multiple changes of agent, slow or no responses to both email and phone-calls, very poor setting of expectations and timescales, mistakes so many mistakes...most of what they were sending the building developers solicitors by way of contract queries were template standard questions most of which were irrelevant and worse still the only document that seemed to have been written specifically for our purchase had so many spelling and grammatical errors I assumed they'd outsourced it to a local primary school.
So we've just completed today, turns out our conveyance agent is on holiday this week, unsurprisingly no one told us.
So in conclusion? we've had to chase them every step of the way, they were incompetent in extremis and they added at least a month onto the whole process costing us thousands in additional rent and bills, if having heard this you still want to use them? Caveat Emptor.....Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ben B.Loughton, United Kingdom01Dec 5, 2013First to Review
Was recommended by Mortgage broker, I would steer clear of these guys..
I was first advised that communication was preferred by email, which seemed fine at first, however I do not expect emails to sit in inboxes for three days without response, my mortgage application was drawn out for over 4 months and during that time I was in communication with 5 individuals.. Not the personal service I was hoping for...
Once my mortgage went through and fees were paid, I then had to chase up documents that had been passed on by the seller, it took two weeks just to receive confirmation they were in their possession!
I would advise anyone to use a smaller independent solicitor who provide a personal service as opposed to these rubber stampers!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
