Walmart

Where should I start.. I happened to be in the area and figured I would stop at this location for a few things. First, the place does not have much of a selection, if anything they are missing a lot of things that most other Walmart's have. Second, their small frozen food section really doesn't have much to it which was surprising. Lastly, out of the many employees working there, there weren't any cash registers open except for self check out. I couldn't believe it! I personally dislike self checkouts because I am a job supporter for human people. I don't think I'll be visiting this particular location ever again, I question how they are even in business.

I would give a better rating because the people who work here are very nice. However, they make you check yourself out and wait in long lines to do so. When I hire more people and make the experience even more pleasant for us if we choose to come here.

did a curb pickup order and they never brought it out but got notified it was picked up when it wasn't because I waited over 10 min before going in to see they had it inside and just didn't bring it out while asking for it and explain what happened the workers just smirked at me. don't do pickup orders here they to lazy to bring them out.

I've been to this store maybe 5 times. Staff and customers are a mixed bag. I've had a couple of pretty helpful workers, but on the whole staff is rude and cocky. Tonight I went to the self-checkout and none of the checkouts had lights on. There was no one in line and people at most of the terminals, so I headed to the empty one and the worker simple said, "No". No what? no cash? No cards? No explanation. This kid half my age talked to me the customers like a child. Do yourself a favor and go to the Foxon Blvd Super Walmart, Staff is friendlier and I never have issues there... except with third party returns (their printer is perpetually "broken".

Just horrible. This site has definitely gone downhill. The employees are rude, they act like they are doing you a favor when they need to do their job. Employees are in isles talking about what they did last night. When you ask for help they either roll their eyes or say they don't know. Do yourself a favor and go to the Walmart in Wallingford!

I wish I could give this crappiest of Walmart stores a 0 review. It's dirty, too small, very little product and unfriendly salespeople. They also have a very annoying Greeter who has to greet you at the door with "Good Morning" and if you don't say "Good Morning" back, harasses you. Then when you check out, the jerk has to bother you on the way out the door. It's the only Walmart that does this. It's NOT The Plaza Hotel in NYC, it's a crappy Walmart store for C**** sakes! Stay clear of this horrible store.

I wish "zero" was a rating. That whole store is a total nightmare. And, the worse thing is that they have the nerve to offer crappy service with a smile.

Can they make the aisles any narrower!? Jeez, just make the store a bunch of one way aisles and be done with it, or hire people in reflective vests to direct traffic in each aisle. What a joke. With every turn around a corner, you're either constantly saying "Excuse me" or you're bumping into someone else's shopping cart. This store is its own punchline. Perfect for a city like Hamden.

I always use Walmart for groceries and have stuff delivered. Beats going to the store . I love it

Terrible store. Always people leering at you when you ask a question. The greeters at the door aren't greeting and just judging you to their friends and the store is a mess. Very sad.

Apparently store greeters don't have to even acknowledge you. I try to avoid this Walmart at all cause. I'm always treated rudely when I go here. Do yourself a favor and head to any of the other 50 Walmart's within 20 minutes.
