So I had to go back to this walgreens because the medication wasn't available at the 2 other pharmacies in town. Would you believe the same thing happened. I was told the by the pharmacist I need paperwork stating why I have been on these meds so long. (who does that?). This is after telling me not to come back in 2016. She not only wants paperwork but to talk to my doctor also to find out why I need pain medicine. Well 8 bad discs and a disease called degenerative disc disease may be your answer. I know this review seems all over the lace but you would not believe how often patients are treated like drug addicts because some people abuse these opioids. NOT MY FAULT! So this store would not fill any prescription for me again. So I left this horrible drugstore and drove an hour until I found the meds and I haven't recovered from that ride yet. I ended up not being able to stop and stretch every 30 minutes in all the traffic I was now a part of, and now (today) this is day 2 of not being able to get around normally because of serious back pain generated by too much driving. Thank you Walgreens your pharmacist who thinks she is curing the world ruined my whole week because my stamped prescription, written and hour before I got there wasn't good enough for you. So now I wake up 2 days later and still I am having trouble walking I have decided to seek council. It's just not right what is happening to people who need pain meds. We aren't the reason this problem has gotten out of control. But we suffer and nothing is being done about the real problem. I have had enough! It took 2 years back in 2004 to find relief for my disease and now I am refused medication by a drugstore.

I went into this Walgreens about a year ago and was told they wouldn't fill my pain prescriptions anymore. Because I needed another opinion and to do something else for my back. The pharmacist told me this. A pharmacist. So I was started going someplace else to get my monthly prescription filled. Since then I did switch to pain management and today I was all ready going to Walgreens to pick up another prescription so I took my pain medicine prescription from today stamped from pain management there and dropped it off. This time I was told it would be filled but they would not be able to fill it anymore because I've been taking it for too long. A pharmacist told me this not a doctor. Being practically disabled is hard enough, listening to this is unbearable. Let me tell you what I already go through just to get that little piece of paper that you won't accept. Every 30 days it's a $75 copayment just to go to pain management and it has to be every 30 days so that they can keep an eye on what else I'm taking I have to take a urinalysis every month to be sure I'm not taking anything else and I am taking what they give me. then I have the doctors visit to discuss any abnormalities or any problems that I'm having. This is when I get the new prescriptions. Which I take directly to a pharmacy so there's no discrepancy with the date. I also signed paperwork saying they could come count my medicine anytime they want so I'm not giving it away or selling it. As if I'm not already treated like a drug attic enough a pharmacist again a pharmacist then questions me on why am taking medication like this and what else they are doing for me. After telling me I needed a second opinion and now I'm going back with the same prescription from a different place. I go through all that and then I have to go through more embarrassment at the drugstore. I do everything in the early in the day because come late afternoon I really can't get around to well but without the medication I wouldn't get around at all. So don't worry Walgreens I won't be back in maybe if you acted like this years ago people wouldn't have gotten pain medicine for every little headache that they had and we wouldn't have such a big problem. And people who really do need the medication wouldn't have to be treated so badly. A pharmacist seriously? And I'm not putting you down as being a pharmacist it's just that your a pharmacist you fill prescriptions you don't write them. All you're doing is hurting people that really need the medicine you're doing nothing for the real problem.

This is the worlds worst pharmacy!!!!!! Not only mess up scripts but out of them all the time and now I get migraine meds that are very very important for me to have I Picked up my prescription Friday when I went and opened it later in the day because I got a migraine it was supposed to be 20 pills in there it was Mark 20 pills and they only gave me 9 . I should say I wasn't surprised so since they're closed on the weekends and close at 6 o'clock on Friday I had to wait till today Monday to get in touch with them they tell me oh well you gotta bring it up so we could see the package I come up here they tell me oh the pharmacies on lunch while she standing right in front of me doing in order I said she's right there she said yeah but she don't come back on till 2 o'clock this place is the worst if you can avoid coming to this one do not come to this one

Very convenient location as I just moved to the area. Friendly employees and is open later than some food stores so is good if I need to pickup something late. Very quick turnaround with getting prescriptions.
