Waffle Square Country Kitchen

I went here during breakfast during Pokemon community day as I always drove past this place and always wanted to try this as this looks like a hole in the wall joint. Most of the specials are on the weekdays however. I did not try their waffles or pancakes, but they had some I wanted to try like the strawberry cheesecake ones.

I ordered the burrito grande which had chorizo, potatoes, avocado and eggs inside. I felt the burrito was okay. What was missing was the salsa and the tortilla wrap was a little dry was expecting the sucker to be bigger, but maybe better it was not because well if it was smaller could not finish the sucker or been very full.

Service was okay, I got my water refilled and got checked on from time to time as it was semi busy there and only had 2 people waiting on staff. Would I eat here again sure I would the prices were not bad at all, but probably would rather go to Harry's cafe to eat.

Friendly service, good food and friendly staff all's round. Great coffee and recommend for a good breakfast.

The only reason this place gets a 3 star is for the hard working lady who was serving us and constantly checking in with us. The food was not good!! I do not suggest this place for the pancakes and the omelettes are alright, no seasoning whatsoever. The pancakes might've not even been cooked fully because they were so raw inside it was hard to swallow. I honestly don't really even know how my husband ate them, they were so raw and flour tasting.

Poor quality control. Had pieces of plastic or broom. Maybe baster hairs?? Unsure but was in my skillet.
Also ordered club sandwich. Had pickles all over the bottom of the container. Fries and sandwich atop. Made everything taste like pickles. Which I hate! No pickles mentioned in description. Just wow. Not ever again.

Currently still at the restaurant but because they are taking forever I am writing this review.

The wait to be seated was long (even though there was a ton of empty tables), the wait to order was also long, the wait to get our food was ridiculously long, and now, the wait to be charged is also taking a long time.

My bf and I were going to go to bacon and butter but decided against it because the wait was long(we honestly just should have gone there)

Our server was alright, the food portions were huge. My double chocolate chip waffles had no chocolate chips inside like it said it was supposed to. If I lived in the area I would say that I probably wouldn't return but I guess I don't have to worry about that :)

My husband and I go here on Sundays after church. We really miss Mike, Deanna, Alex and all the staff who are so good to us. It's a good old fashioned coffee shop where the coffee is hot and you get as many refills you want. It's homey-not fancy- like Grampa's favorite tv lounger. American diner food that's filling and good.
My husband loves the ham and cheese omelets (or the jalapeno burger) if it's later in the day. I try just about everything and have never been disappointed.
Give this place a try when they open back up after the lockdown. Relax and let the highly trained and caring staff feed you and care for you.
Waiting anxiously to enjoy our Sunday breakfasts again at Waffle Square.

Ugh; don't even bother there are plenty of places around corner with great customer service and fresh food,

One star for the waitress.. food and everyone else is more a 2-3

Wait was a little long for only having a few tables seated.. food was okay. Similar to Dennys. Waffle was under cooked taste more like a fluffy pancake. I ordered the lumberjack... It was okay.

What made the entire experience worse was that after all the waiting... when the waitress finally brings us the food she brings the check too! Only our table.. the table next to us... no check with their food that came out right after us.

Is it the way we looked? Being a young ethnic couple with a baby.......

Also she only checked on us once the entire time.. and only bc she seen me looking at my yelp app.

These were the best waffles I've had!! They were crunchy and I had the best experience there. Too bad I live in Stockton and can't go to often! I can't wait to go back and eat here!

Ehhhh. Stopped here for a quick brunch which turned out longer than it should have . Service was fine and I do not think it was a server issue for the delay but they kitchen. Found was ok. Prices are good . I will not be back here .
