Vita Dental Arts is proud to announce the opening of its new state of the art dental practice. Our practice is conveniently located in the heart of the historical downtown of Jersey City and it is a short walk from the Path train station (Grove Street). Whether you'd like to come early in the day, during a lunch break, evenings or even on the weekends; your appointment is easy to make and promptly kept. 486293Apr 19, 2024Updated reviewThere are not enough superlatives to describe the quality and efficiency of this personable Vita Dental Arts team at 121 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, NJ. I had a teeth cleaning today by Dr. Viktoriya Valyuk and assisted by technician Maria. Dr. Viktoriya did a thorough and complete cleaning and took x-rays, and she gave me her evaluation. Of course, Dr. Vitaliy Valyuk, who does my more complex dental work, is top-notch, as well as is his administrative team of Hanna, Yuliana and Viktoria.

Once again, Dr. Vitaliy Valyuk did a meticulous and thoroughly professional job putting in the filling. He takes pride in his work and makes sure he is satisfied with the work before he lets you go. He has an amazing supporting team of Dr. Viktoriya Valyuk, Yuliana, Hanna, Viktoria and Maria. As far as I am concerned, this is the best dental team in all of Jersey City.

Hands down, Dr. Viktoriya is the best at her job. The rest is the dynamic team of Vitaliy Valyuk DDS, Maria, Juliana, Viktoriia and Hanna should also be recognized for their fine teamwork.
Jul 5, 2023Previous reviewToday, July 5, I went in for my 6-month teeth cleaning and x-rays. Viktoriya Valyuk DDS did a wonderful and thorough job. She also advised on brushing, flossing, and even using a Waterpik to prevent cavities. Sodas contain a lot of sugar and she advised against drinking it. The office team of Olena, Natalia, Yuliana, and Vitaliy Valyuk DDS is exceptional.
May 18, 2023Previous reviewToday, May 18, 2023, was the installation of my front 3-tooth permanent bridge. Exquisite work, to put it mildly. Skilled dentist Dr. Vitally Valyuk, who is like a fine artist, did a masterful job through measurements and fitting of the temporary bridge, and now, the final bridge. Again, it looks awesome. Besides Dr. Vitaliy Valyuk, is the stellar and personable dental team of Dr. Viktoriya Valyuk, Natalia, Yuliana and Amulya. Vita Dental Arts is at 121 Newark Avenue, Suite 202, and at the beginning of the lovely 3-block long Newark Avenue Pedestrian Walk.
Feb 27, 2023Previous reviewOn February 27, 2023, I saw Dr. Vitaliy Valyuk to check on the progress of my temporary 3 -tooth bridge. It looked good, gum healing nicely, and I will be back in 2 months for the permanent bridge. I am extremely pleased with the diligence and beautiful work Dr. Valyuk had done even on my temporary bridge. The staff including Dr. Viktoriya Valyuk, Juliana, Natalya and Maria are a personable and efficient dental team. I highly recommend Vita Dental Arts at 121 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, NJ. It is located on the glorious renovated Newark Avenue pedestrian walk.

He took an impression for my temporary front tooth bridge. Back in a few weeks for Visit 2 of the process. Dr. Valyuk explains the entire process thoroughly every step of the way. He is amazing. Nov 22, 2022Previous reviewI saw Dr. Vitaliy Valyuk of Vita Dental Arts at 121 Newark Avenue today, November 22, 2022. He took me in on a busy day due to my broken crown. Sadly, tooth #10 was next to my 2 upper front teeth. The missing tooth looked awful. He meticulously glued it back in place and put glue on 2 adjoining teeth so it could stay in place until I am able to see the dental implant surgeon next week. I have important meetings tomorrow and Dr. Valyuk did his usual meticulous work so I would temporarily have the tooth in place. He is the best dentist I have ever had. I must commend the full stellar team of Dr. Viktoriya Valyuk, Amulanga, Yuliana, Olena, Galina, Maria and Liuchiia. In my opinion, they comprise the best dental team in all of Jersey City, NJ.

I have to commend the superlative work of Vitaliy Valyuk DDS. He put in a bridge on the upper right side of my mouth. Dr. Valyuk is precise and meticulous until he gets the procedure perfect. He is the best and most skilled dentist I have ever had. I can now smile with confidence that my teeth look great. The supporting team of Viktoriya Valyuk, Natalia, Maria, Liuchiia and Amulanga are first-rate and always welcoming when patrons stop by. And Vita Dental Arts is located on the lovely upgraded Newark Avenue pedestrian walk.
May 10, 2022Previous reviewToday, May 10, 2022, I went to Vita Dental Arts at 121 Newark Avenue, Jersey City to see about 1-2 cavities and a tooth bridge we had previously discussed. Dr. Vitaliy Valyuk spent a good deal of time explaining proper dental care and worked on my cavity. He wants my gum to heal a bit more before we take bridge measurements. He recommended purchasing an electric toothbrush to keep teeth and gums as healthy as possible. I respect and trust his advice implicitly. Maria was there to assist the work being done on me. I highly recommend to all comers this superb Vita Dental Arts team consisting of Dr. Vitaliy Valyuk, Dr. Viktoriya Valyuk and Maria, Iryna and Natalia.
Mar 22, 2022Previous reviewI had my semi-annual teeth cleaning with x-rays today, 3/22/2022. I also will need to have a tooth replaced and Vitaliy Valyuk DDS came in to consult with me on options. He was very clear and easy to understand. We came up with an agreed upon game plan. I will be back for a visit in 2 months. Viktoriya Valyuk DDS gave me an excellent prophylaxis as well. Both Valyuks are the absolute best, along with a great supporting staff of Maria, Irina and Natalia. I highly recommend this Vita Dental Arts group as the #1 go-to dental team in all of Jersey City.

Viktoriya Valyuk DDS always does a thorough teeth cleaning and an analysis from the x-rays. This dental group is one stellar team, consisting of Dr. Viktoriya, along with Vitaliy Valyuk DDS, and the staff of Olena, Maria and Natalia. I understand business at Vita Dental is excellent and as it should be. This is the best dental team I have ever been associated with.

Dr. Vitaliy is a personable and highly skilled dentist. His staff consists of Dr. Viktoriya Valyuk, Nataliya, Iryna, Olena and Maria. All professional and efficient workers in a pristine and lovely facility at 121 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, NJ. I consider Vita Dental Arts my favorite dental team of all I ever visited.
Apr 13, 2021Previous reviewI came in today, April 13, 2021, to have a cavity filled. Again, Dentists Vitaliy and Viktoriya Valyuk, and staff of Iryna, Natalia, Maria and Alena are a first rate team. Dr. Vitaliy is a highly skilled and masterful dentist. And actually about 6 weeks ago he glued in and put in a makeshift post into a tooth whose post had broken. To this day it has held up. It gives me time to get an implant done locally when hopefully COVID-19 is on the decline. So at least for now I have a tooth there instead of a gap. It is due to Dr. Vitaliy's going the extra mile to have a temporary crown for me until I go see the dental surgeon for implant work.

Vitaliy and Viktoria Valyuk are incredibly talented dentists. They have been rather busy during the pandemic. Not surprising because Vita Dental Arts is the best dental team in Jersey City. I commend the 2 dentists and the incredible staff of Natalia, Iryna, Maria and Alena. I give Vita Dental Arts the highest possible recommendation.
Jan 30, 2020Previous reviewI chipped a tooth, or so I thought, but it was actually a chipped filling. Dentist Vitaliy Valyuk said it was a deep filling that chipped. Dr. Vitaliy and assistant Maria worked meticulously at putting in a new filling. I have been a Jersey City resident for 4.5 years and I am incredibly lucky to have chosen Vita Dental Arts at 121 Newark Avenue as my dental venue. Vitaliy and his wife dentist Viktoriya, and assistants Maria and Iryna are excellent. And of all the dentists I have had while living in Manhattan, Dr. Vitaliy Valyuk is the very best dentist of all.

I have been coming to Vita Dental Arts since I moved to Jersey City 3.5 years ago. This dental office was one of my best finds. Dentists Vitality and Viktoriya, Valyuk, and the staff of Elizabeth, Maria and Amula are all efficient and personable. I have recommended Vita Dental Arts to 2 other good friends who are also delighted with their exemplary work.
Feb 7, 2019Previous reviewOne week after my last visit, I came in to have 3 cavities filled. (Bad me for having too many sugary drinks.) Dentist Vitaliy Valyuk worked on a rather large cavity for it seemed like close to an hour--using many different dental drills and tools. His workmanship reminded me of a sculptor creating a masterpiece. He is extremely meticulous and thorough. The finished work looked and felt amazing. Vita Dental Arts is one heckuva great dental office!

I had a huge old amalgam filling replaced--and it was a lot of work and time-consuming. Dentist Vitaliy Valyuk did a superior job and I had no pain at all. The staff of dentists Vitaliy and Viktoriya Valyuk, receptionist / office manager Elizabeth and dental assistants Maria and Iryna are efficient and very friendly. I have been coming to Vita Dental Arts for 2.5 years now and I could not be happier with their services.
Jan 29, 2018Previous reviewI have been coming to Dental Arts in Jersey City, NJ for 2 years since I moved into the neighborhood in 2015. It is one of my very best decisions. The dentists, Viktoriya and Vitaliy Valyuk are superbly skilled in dentistry and very pleasant to converse with. I had both of them work on my teeth. Elizabeth, the receptionist, is the first stop inside the office--she is always bubbly and efficient. Dental assistant Irina is also helpful and expeditious. Their 2nd floor hallway has been spruced up with tasteful floors, furnishings and paintings. I truly enjoy my experiences at Dental Arts and have already recommended 2 of my friends to check them out.

Went to Vita Dental Arts as the first dentist I've visited in 6-7 years. Was nervous, but Viktoriya and the other dental professional who did my teeth cleaning were extremely professional, effective, and personable.
They spent so long catching me up on my annual check ups, and explained every step of the process. Any moments of discomfort were immediately addressed and remedied. You can tell that everyone here cares for their patients, from the employees at the desk to Viktoriya herself.

Whoever is reviewing this has clearly never been to the building. They make it impossible for you to get inside. You have to push an intercom button and wait for someone to answer which by the time they did and I got into the vestibule the door was already locked.
Next comes the elevator. Forget it. If you're afraid of elevators or afraid of small spaces, save yourself the agony. I waited in the elevator for 5 minutes for it to go no where. The buttons don't even work!
The day before your appointment they call you incessantly and don't leave voicemails reminding you about your appointment. When you have to reschedule because of a work conflict they make you feel like you're a piece of **** for cancelling.
Clearly the dentist appointment takes more priority over your full time job that supports your life.
Avoid. Go somewhere else.
Crappy insurance goes hand in hand with crappy service. In this day, no one needs this type of unnecessary stress.

There is a lot of anxiety that comes from finding a new dentist and then hoping that things will go well. Is the doctor skilled? Do they know how to be gentle and minimize pain? Are they going to push products and up sell you?
Fortunately for me...after a LOT of internet research, I found Drs. Valyuk (husband and wife team) which represent the gems of Jersey City and beyond. Both are highly skilled, empathetic, and experienced. From their crazy high ratings on several websites for dentists and services all the way to the fact that their clients come from far away (there was one from Florida!) completely matched my great experience.
So far I've been in three times: cleaning and checkup, fillings, and some cosmetic work. Each time they have seen me earlier or on time, been very skilled, don't waste time, and manage to be very thorough.
Mr. Dr. Valyuk, who worked on me, is a savant. He doesn't just do the job - he is like an artist with a drill. I've never seen a dentist with a more steady hand and an understanding of how people bite and use their teeth (if that makes sense). Having him work on you is like playing on Michael Jordans championship team in his prime. They are also pros at making sure you feel the minimal amount of pain possible.
When you get your cleanings done, you will find that the doctors are cleaning your teeth. They ask you the right questions and give you all of the options - ball is in your court and they are all empathy and what works best for you. Anytime you go to the dentists, I advise that you always ask the questions that will lead to your level of service and don't be shy.
One other big plus is their front office. Everyone is friendly and there is no attitude, only humility. Their OM Elizabeth has been there from the beginning and has a photographic memory. You will often see the doctors themselves picking up the phone and taking appointments. That's a really nice touch and shows a strong workplace culture.

Located on the second floor next to the Word. You'll have to buzzed to get into the building. The elevators are slow so if you can use the stairs on the right, you should.
The office is on the right from the elevator lobby. The office is clean and the receptionist helpful. There are forms to fill and other requirements for insurance and ID. Also call ahead for a reservation.
The wait was not long since it was a week day afternoon (about 15 minutes). The tech took x-rays for the dentist. The dentist was good. She told me what I will need to get based on the x-rays and did the cleaning herself, with no assistant. She has gentile hands and very capable.

Great experience from booking(they called me when they had appointments available), wait time(I arrived a bit early and check in was quick), procedure(cleaning and x-rays, Dr. Viktoriya was mindful of my teeth sensitivities and answered my questions/concerns), and billing(no overcharging, bill was submitted to my insurance same day and immediately approved).

Asked me to come back time after time until it was too late and I needed a root canal), and I was recommended Vita Dental by a friend. Best recommendation ever! He did a root canal and a crown for me. I also recently had a filling on another tooth.
I have no dental insurance but find that this place have reasonable prices. They are super clean and very professional.

NO RESPECT FOR THEIR PATIENTS. Ihave to say their bedside manner is nonexistent . There is no respect for any patient that comes into this office. I was on hold for the person to get an answer on the phone and my line got disconnected and then when I called back the phone went straight to voicemail as if they hung up the phone and turned it off instantly. Also they have left my mother waiting with numbing cream in her mouth for 20 minutes without anyone checking up on her. For a dental/medical office, THERE IS NO RESPECT.

So my appointment was at 10am, I walk in at 9:45am , present myself and give the person my new insurance card (after previously calling in and stating I have new insurance the day I booked my appointment) and I end up waiting 20 mins for the receptionist to call and verify that my insurance is active.
My appointment was for 10am and that's when the office opens, I see people that came after me walk in the room before me.
Why call the day of? Why make the patient wait while you do what you were supposed to do a day or two before ? If the insurance doesn't go through with a patient, they have to pay out of pocket and that's that. Nope. They made me wait until the insurance company can verify that my insurance was active. Unbelievable. This has totally turned me off on top of having to drive a long way to come here,

The wonders of Vita Dental Arts by Dr Vitaliy and Dr Viktorya. They both exceeded my expectations. Me and my family has been seeing them for 2+ years and no complaints,happy and satisfied with every appointments. And not to mention Elizabeth and all staff who's very heartwarming people. We love this place so much.
