Always ask about the daily specials! This past Saturday I had the blueberry french toast and it was amazing! Doesn't even need syrup; just dig into this berry load breakfast and enjoy the delicious ride! If you want great food at a fair price, this is your breakfast place to be!

Fantastic cafe serving fresh food and great customer service! Classic diner feel, quick service. Had a veggie omelette and house made sausage. Both very yummy! Lover had blueberry pancakes, bacon, eggs. We would both return for a tasty and hearty breakfast!

So, we went this morning, and it was busy and we understand, but we ordered coffee and simple meal. So, imagine how we felt watching other tables who arrived after received their meals first. Been here before never an issue, and I to make this assumption but the ones who arrived later and received their meals were all Caucasian and we are not.I don't want to go there but what am I to believe? We paid for the coffee, the only we did get & left.

After many years of driving by Vickery Cafe, we decided to come and try. Tbh, I thought I would be disappointed, but I wasn't! Simple..yet kinda pricey for a cafe/diner. First time I got the ranch hand. Comes with eggs, sausage, sausage biscuits and gravy, bacon, and hashbrowns. I like my eggs sunny side up. Where do they get these eggs from cuz they're good. Sausage was dry, but it wasn't bad. Crispy bacon, I like! Now, I'm usually disappointed with biscuits and gravy around here, but not bad Vickery Cafe. Sausage gravy with big chunks of sausage. Needed a little bit flavor in that gravy, but definitely decent. Second visit, got 2 eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns. $10.. might as well got the Ranch hand for $3 more, but oh well. Simple and good.. the sausage needs a little help. I'll be back though.

If you want small diner vibes this is it. Felt like we took a step back in time. The food was really good and fresh, average priced for breakfast in DFW. Toast was a tad burnt but it happens. Only complaint was there were several flies inside. Kept having to swat them away from our yummy food.

Vickery Cafe is a must go to place for breakfast & lunch! It's a diner with down home cooking! Menu is full of classic, tex-mex, and creole breakfast & lunch options! Clean place, great service, homemade foods (housemade patty, bun, & fries pictured) & great prices!

They have a rotating daily lunch special for $10 and they allow substitutions of sides.

This is my first time writing a review but I have eaten their food many times through a delivery service. I have never had a bad meal and I usually have leftovers!

This is by far the best French toast I've had in years. It's clear that the bread was soaked in a good egg wash resulting in a delicious spongy masterpiece. The bacon was crispy, but not burnt. The eggs were seasoned and cooked thoroughly. I couldn't ask for a better breakfast.

I was nervous when I saw the sign that said the health inspection is available by request, but I didn't see anything visibly wrong with the diner. I looked at the health inspection from April 2022 online...hear me out. There were a lot of violations, but the food is good and I still feel fine days after my meal.
