Venice Auto Body Shop

I only write accurate and detailed reviews of incredibly horrible experiences, so that other people are aware of it in the future.

First off, I have been coming to this body shop for the past few years because former company referred me to the mechanic who works here. He is an older Korean gentleman with a great attitude and very humble. He did an excellent job repairing my previous vehicles. However, the guy in the office that manages all the paperwork was, is and will be an obstacle before you even make an appointment.

Every time I came in to make an appointment, my former manager was the one that helped me get an estimate after dealing with the office guy. This time, since I am an existing customer, I decided to stop by for an estimate on my own but was once again reminded by a rude and unwelcoming tone of voice from guy in the office. He does not know the meaning of customer service and he will talk down on you from the getgo as if he is superior than you while sitting behind his raggedy old desk.

I kept my cool and eventually got an estimate and he told me to call a month later to see if there was an opening. WTF!? A month!? I live in orange county and work in LA. I have 3 vehicles and the one that needed repair was in orange county. So, I busted a mission to bring my vehicle from oc to la and left it in a friend's garage for a whole month so I can take it to the body shop ASAP since the lease was up soon.

After a month I called him and he picks up the phone and answers "Yes?".......Not, "Hello, this js Venice Autobody Shop" or "Hi, my name is douchebag, what can I do for you? But..."Yes?"
I told him that I called to make an appointment for my vehicle that I inquired a month before. He said that my appointment was past due and that I would have to wait another month!! Then he goes off at me saying that it is not his job to call his customers or remind them of appointments and starts making sarcastic gestures. This guy is arrogant and rude and does not give a shit about you. If you like dealing with scumbags this guy is for you.

This place did a great job repairing my car. Also, the price was good which was the best part. I would definitely go back!

Good prices and these guys BLEND well so you don't always have to paint the ENTIRE panel!

My favorite auto body shop in LA. I always take my car here to get it fixed if anything happens, and they do a great job fixing everything to make the car look new. On top of the great service, the prices are great too!

Richard (the owner) was a pleasure to work with and I was so glad it wasn't a shady body shop that was going to rip me off.

I came here on a recommendation, but the quote was also the lowest of the estimates I got.

Car looks like new and pretty quick turnaround. They also washed and vacuumed the car which was nice.

The only issue I had was the first time I took my car, they couldn't take it because they were too busy/backlogged. Call first.

I found these guys right here on yelp. I didnt want to put my repair thru insurance. The price for repair was very good and the work was great. I will definitely go back, and actually heading there tomorrow. : 0
