Very disappointing. The outside of the building is so nice. I was excited to see an upscale place to get my hair cut while I am at our cottage for the summer.
I made an appointment for a hair cut. Drove 30 minutes to Crivitz. Arrived a few minutes early. And then I was told that Allie was running 45 minutes late! Couldn't I have called to reschedule?
The website says that they are a New York salon in northern Wisconsin. Not even close. Very cluttered. Horrible customer service. The woman who answered the often repeatedly called my "honey". Not ok.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jane K.Beaver, WI01Jan 19, 2019
Lorie B has been giving me my "treatments" as my husband calls them, well almost forever. The moment you enter Uniq....you are greeted with a friendly smile and choice of fun beverage before the " treatment" begins. I always feel like Lori wants to make my experience of hair color and cut one I'm happy with and feel uplifted when I leave! I will continue with Lori B and recommend you try Uniq for some always needed pampering too

Went in for a gel manicure while on vacation and a blonde tech used an electric nail dremel to rough up my natural nail for the gel to stick. I didn't question why she was doing this, it's her job, which I feel like an idiot for now. (I had to go on Reddit to get the answers to this) I've been told my nails are damaged until they completely grow back out. She butchered my cuticles by not soaking them before cutting, she cut off way too much, and then repeatedly hit the cuticles again after with the nail dremel. They're peeling and inflamed and it was an overall painful experience. My nails are so rough and damaged that the polish looks like there's bits of sand stuck underneath. The polish job is sloppy and uneven. I really hope I don't get an infection. Please educate your nail techs on this.

Beautiful upscale salon. Lori B has done my hair for years and is a wonderful hair artist and a wonderful person. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I love this salon and the staff! Jen does a great job with my hair color and cut and Amy is a wonderful nail tech. The entire staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.
